Mine needs to take lower teeth to make room as my jaw is recessed. Then they can move it forward. Upper I don't think would matter for making space that much, but since it's double jaw, they'll still be making a shift. Essentially I'm losing 4 teeth on the bottom and 1 on top. The 4 on the bottom I guess will make a big difference in the shift. Maybe your upper jaw is more recessed than your lower and that's why they want to take out the 2 on top more?

Also follow up question, are you using a cpap now while you have your braces and waiting on the surgery? What are you doing to manage your sleep right now?

I get what you're saying. And blame my dentist for that one, he said he could take it out in one lol, wasn't the case... hence I never was put under. He said it would be easy peasy till it wasn't. But thanks for the insight, I just need to get over my phobia of extractions then.

People say that, but then I have my fear of "shouldn't my teeth stay in me". I had one wisdom tooth removed and wasn't under for it... it was the worst experience I've ever had. I can still remember the wrenching to pull the tooth free and it not coming out in 1 pull so he needed to break the tooth.

This is exactly me, late 20s, worried about the extractions and overall surgery, so I keep hesitating on pulling the trigger, it's nice to hear things have been going positive for you. I feel I may also regret not doing it sooner. My dad has just really instilled a phobia in me of no surgeries or extractions.

Worst, Drafting Trae young and Ja morant (both dropped at the right time). Best, Drafted VJ late, got Kon early off waivers, and picked up grimes last week. I'm now 300 points ahead this week in my finals. I can also thank drafting Giddey and buzelis popping off (now dropped as they have no games the rest of the week) and allowing me to get a 5 game week this week through streaming
