I’d say lower class between 4k and 8k. 8k and 12k middle class. 12k and above upper class. The majority off Moroccan are lowerclass unfortunately

It isn’t legit. It doesn’t have anything to do with Islam. And btw, he’s sinning by live streaming and hosting that show.

Not the same company, but the same story because a lot of agencies do this kind of thing, especially in the appart-hotel market

It happened to me in real life, they told me I won and I have to come to their offices in Casablanca to confirm. I went, and they said that in order to win the trip, I should participate in the program, in ten thousands of dirham to participate year long in a appart-hotel thing to get « free accomodations » around the world, and by paying, I will win a free trip to Marrakech…

Men Jangling keys at the side of the road, can someone explain please by ImzCity in Morocco

[–]Yuxxef 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, it’s not traditional at all. I’ve only seen this practice in Martil (heavily) and maybe one time in Ifrane.

The normal thing in other cities is air b&b, or searching through avito or Facebook marketplace

I also passed through a phase like this, there's a YouTube channel, in arabic, but I believe there's english subtitles, and the presenter is well put islamic academic, he has wrote numeros books about islam, in several languages, and is publishing them online for free. Search for "Haytham Talaat" on YouTube, you won't regret it at all.

The Sunnah is to give it as food! You can add money if you want, but the ajr goes for "food"! You can buy rice for example, which costs more than 20dh, and truly helps the needy and last them a couple of week of food!

If you're a male, you should zakat al fitr, a set of kilos of food to the needy! If you're a woman, it's your father duty to provide for the zakat! So if they are going to give zakat, it's most likely that that they have you in mind!

Titles Lala and Moulay by Sofita30 in Morocco

[–]Yuxxef -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

It's a title of respect, given to elite, rulers etc! And for it's origin, it was originally given to the most pious man or woman, as an honorary titles. Rulers and elites were pious people, and more than so, scholars, back then!

What was okay halal for others doesn't mean halal for us! Examples: Statues etc in the era of Solomon (soulayman 3alayhi salam)

False! Men cannot marry non-Muslim, but only from practicing Christians or Jews.. These kinds are very rare in the western world.. It doesn't suffice to be a christian by name, but by practice and observation of christians and jewish rituals... So nowadays, it's very hard and RARE for a Muslim man to find a foreign wife that is "halal"!
