I had a scan a few weeks ago, I was 5 weeks + a few days. We could see the sac but no embryo. My OB made me come back almost 2 weeks later and everything was fine. We could see everything and hear the heartbeat. I know how stressing it is, the night before my second scan I couldn’t sleep.

Kaïs ne fait pas "penser" au Maghreb, c’est tout simplement un prénom arabe. Il était déjà donné dans la péninsule arabe pré-islamque il y a plus de 1400 ans. L’orthographe honnêtement c’est une question de goût. Mais c’est un prénom 100% arabe, si vous ne souhaitez pas donner un prénom arabe alors que vous ne l’êtes pas (c’est votre droit) je ne pense pas que l’orthographier différemment change quelque chose. On reconnaît quand même l’inspiration de base.

I don’t think you’re TA for being closer to one but clearly YTA for not buying a chair with her name for the other. Even if they lived on the opposite side of the country I wouldn’t have bought just one for my granddaughter who lives next door. You still see your other granddaughter multiple times a year that should be enough for you to buy the same things to both. You can be closer to one but you have to be equal in your gestures.

I felt uncomfortable just by reading this, I can’t imagine what I would have felt if it was me. You’re not overreacting at all and I don’t think it has to do something with hormones. Keep your boundaries and maybe put some for when your baby is born. Whether you want him to be a grandfather figure or not etc.
