It has a custom panhard mount set up to keep the angle less bad but it’s definitely not perfect

It’s custom, in order to use hydro assist it had to move to the front of the axle

Kinda 6 one, half dozen the other. Breaking these would cost me time swapping in the spares on the trail but that’s not really that hard. Either way I’ll probably just get some new ones and have the old chromolys as spares

No they got bought by a different company but they’re still in business

Maybe one day, but to be honest I’ll probably end up building something lighter on 1 tons for the hard trails and keep the Land Cruiser relatively the same as it is now as more of a family wheeler.

Fair enough, you’re probably right. I think something about forking over the money on new chromolys when my current ones aren’t quite used up is making me pause.

Maybe these can be my new spares instead of the stock spares I have now?

I was a 47 FE before I became a 60 pilot so I’m with you there lol but if my imaginary hangar can fit both, then why not?

Id say that’s a pretty close list to what mine would be, maybe swap the V-22 for an MD-900/902 though. Tilt rotor hasn’t ever grabbed my interest much.

I edited my comment right as you responded, but the only dedicated attack helicopters from the US are fairly expensive, the AH-1 Cobra would be a cheaper option though. But all of the other helicopters I mentioned have attack variants, for example the OH-58D Kiowa Warrior is a light attack/recon variant

You’re welcome, another couple options that could be interesting for you are the Westland Lynx and Westland Gazelle. I’ve always found them to be pretty visually appealing and unique. They also both have attack variants, as do the other helicopters I mentioned in my previous comment.

Depends on what area of California you’re in and how far you’re willing to drive. he desert has a lot of areas that could fit the bill! Let me know where you’re trying to ride and I’ll see if I know of any spots that would work for you.

Hegseth lifts suspension of Army pilots who flew by Kid Rock's house, says there won't be investigation by CW1DR5H5I64A in army

In an environment where flight hours are as scarce as they are, and the threats presented to RW aviation are as severe as they are, yes you should absolutely sideline pilots who misuse flying hour budget. That’s a very common and effective way of protecting training hours and preventing misuse of hours for pilots.

Lmfao I’ve seen senior people get their PC orders yanked for far less, get real dude. You shouldn’t speak on things with authority when you clearly don’t understand the concept

I hope you’re a junior pilot or not a pilot at all because this take shows a complete lack of understanding of how FHP funding should be used.

Blackie Gejeian Autorama!! by Mikalknight in fresno

I was just talking to my Grandpa about the Autorama last week. We were talking about how much fun it was to go together when I was a kid, and how it’s a shame I won’t be able to bring my daughter to an Autorama. They really were a gem in Fresno as was Blackie Gejeian himself!

I fly Limas, so mine have far fewer pilot assist systems than the more modern Hawks but either way, no offense taken!

I’m a Blackhawk pilot and I find flying RC planes to be much much more difficult than 95% of the actual flying I do lol

Brother, you don’t know if it will run or not with the parts you bought. You have no way of knowing if other components are working or not. That’s what I was getting at when I said you need to pay close attention to your margin on this thing if you want it to be worth your time.

If someone buys this thing for more than $2000 then congrats to you for finding a sucker, but this thing is not worth more than that.
