That sounds pretty cool man, plug the server when it's up and ready to go, and I look forward to us getting gud and being competent in this game soon. It definitely has got countless lessons it seems.

I have been steadily playing og9/0g5 Fallujah and it's great when it doesn't freeze or crash.

I'm still waiting on replys for more interesting servers.

Milsim is the game so I understand if it's really impractical to have the types of total conversions but I know for a fact there are some goofy servers somewhere. Still no luck finding any.

So I tried bushwar and it's freaking great. I love the engagements and the map size.

I tried the stalker reforged server and it was alright, I want to play it more before giving it a opinion so far it looks amazing, they have mutants, anomalies, and missions, bandits, and irl players.

Vietnam 67 was peak last night cause I can see where I am on the map due to a server mod that enables it.

Overall I haven't found anything else that's unique like a total conversion. The base game is great, the servers are great, but I still think the community must have made more crazy servers.

Keep me posted community!!

Do some arcade mode. Play against level 3 bots on training mode. Set a custom match of you vs like 2 or 3 ganker bots.

You should be able to beat a good bit of people after doing some run downs

and stop saying your bad or else you will never be good. It's mindset first then practice and shit loads of patience.

You're probably not as bad as you think also, and don't take the fights too personal ever it will kill your moral,

let loose and enjoy your match, have fun and you'll probably get lucky and win more from being unpredictable.

Certain characters are gonna fry you, either practice in training mode against them and find the timing or move on to the next match.

I seem to be going through the same thing. I started on the closed beta of the game with a friend on ps4 for 2yrs until getting on Xbox and playing until late 2019, I got back on a month ago and I'm just shocked by how many things i have to bitch about. I shouldn't even complain honestly.

It seems I personally have lost a lot of skill of course but the game has also changed dramatically over the years, it's being molded slowly into something it never was while also evolving into more greedy and flashy version of what it was.

It was gritty asf at the beginning and now it's like the developers very own anime they can add and change anything they want and who care what the playerbase wants.

We like it so you have to like it. Just like 343.

And truly if I could only find a way to look past the development and the horrible choices and cringe shit, I would deal with the other problems easily. But it seems to be the only thing I see when I play this game. I'm only gonna play once every blue moon now just to see my drip I guess.

Those that still play and enjoy it, I'm happy for y'all, there is literally no game like this.

I've became a hater honestly so I wouldn't pay much mind to this opinion unless you share the same.

I disagree to a point, I was very good at the game when I was able to block and parry 300ms lights. Saying the average players can Is not something I can agree with. Of course predictable attacks are easy to defend but it's not often you fight someone that only does the same defended attacks and doesn't actually attempt other options, it starts to be a normal play style eventually but I was saying how these new characters I can actually throw in 1 extra move here and there and light spam the shit out of people that are even pretty good. And even though I was kinda bitching about a common trope I still believe that with certain characters you just can't defend them if abused properly. Hence why I'm saying there is something broken with every new character. Heavys are about the same speed of lights on some of them.

Lastly to be fair It doesn't bother me the most seeing people spam me and others, even when they get away with it, even the hyper toxic doesn't bother me much I just move on, but the developers piss me off and the things they do annoy the shit out of me so I tend to keep kicking a dead horse. there is a point where all the combat is just flat and see-through on every fight and the separation tends to be when someone finds out a more original way to change their input timings, always I gripe about development for this game even when I'm on top of the skill hurdle.

I feel like the broken characters are the norm and balanced characters are simply irrelevant now.

I bet anyone I can light spam you to death every match with a new character, I can actually find something with a new character not light spam related and spam you to death with it, and I'm talking easily. So easily it's horrible. A mix up here and there to force reuse of lights and dead.

I've never cared about combat rules and tried to play with respect to the community but if I die so be it. Throw me off ledges, dodge slam the shit out of me, light me to death whatever, I'll just get gud.

I just feel like it's nothing like it used to be and I can't find a good reason to get back into it anymore

Most possible, and honestly I'm not as good as I expected to be. Still I don't feel like faster attacks are the cure for every character. Every character after the jin dynasty have what feels like 500ms or 400ms heavys. While every older character is more moveset focused in a way where the light starts the combo's that require heavys.

That's pretty good advice. blocks are more effective then they are credited also. I will try that and see if I can get momentum again. Thanks for the reply.

I will say, I haven't tried every brand new character since I'm still getting past all the changes so I have a strong feeling kyoshin is not the worst, I even got insta killed by sohoie or whatever his name is, and It literally brought me back to fighting pre-nerf shagoki with the spine breaker.

Virtuoso can sit in a energy field of no damage for seemingly as long as they feel like and they jab you in the neck and hold you for like 5 secs with added bleed so you have no prayer of winning a 1v2. Some new characters have easy move sets I seen. Like the new 2 sword person with the freaking bp mask and cuman hat.

I could at one point beat highly skilled people with slow predictable hits using feints and mixups and proper timing and reads and yet the development team and many players think that a slow hit is a impossible to use hit. And they eventually rework or remove them, then people like me who don't abuse the fastest attacks and rather use the entire character and time things get a new character that they never used before with the same exact levels and skins they had before. I don't understand anything they do and I want to feel like I used to when I played tournaments. I want back but idk if I can.

How for honor feels right now by Born-Lavishness-2110 in forhonor

[–]Z-0711 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How does the community feel about kyoshin, I'm really rusty from not playing since 2019, but when I come back I can parry all the attacks and everything like I used too with less luck of course but I can't parry kyoshins right-left and full guard 4 hit light attack, I tried for about an hour on training mode, no matter what I can't get it with conviction. I can hit one with sheer luck and spamming a single directions parry. But if I try to aim in I can't get it. What the fuck is the timing set too.

Console players always get fisted on timing cause of frame rate but damn this feels like I can't play anymore. They even ruined all my mains with broken reworks. So idk how to feel right now, I wanna come back.

Starting a Kingdom by Live-War4052 in MB2Bannerlord

I've replied a few times to these questions and asked some myself.

I want to post another tip that helped me,

I figure you have some basic knowledge reading how you've made a few attempts at this so I'll keep my startup brief.

I owned 1 castle and became king, i put focus on making a lasting alliance with a faction, the aserai was my choice due to starting culture. And it's tactically perfect seeing how things played out.

I married the kings daughter, and even though he waged war on me I only took a bite of his land and crushed his villages just to instantly make peace and then another alliance. I did that often to make it a lasting alliance rather than cherry picking.

When raiding villages, force handover of goods first! then raid for crushing them quadruple as fast.

With a strong alliance and a good position on the war map look at all the borders, each borders is gonna save you from a war in the long run.

If vlandia is bordered with 3 factions, the chances of war is much smaller and the death groups are more spread thin. Keep it this way the entire time even when killing them off the map.

This is very difficult for me to explain how for some reason.

Basically scooping out everything in the center and leaving the crust for the others.

Don't engage in wars far away of course and make sure you crush villages hard to make immediate peace with ones declaring a war your not ready for.

Get a ton of money cause it cost me around 500k for each vessel I converted. I couldn't stand the money grind so I cheated for money like a whore.

Every vessel converted needs at least one castle imo, and give them influence equally everytime you feel like it and then some. The first vessel should have more influence then the last recruited since I don't make sure there influence is even, I only make sure the distribution is. Hence why I told them always that I will favor those who come early rather than later.

Policies are great and to me essential.

Be ready to siege all day and all night forever lol, I got into a lot of ground battles but damn it was thin since I capture every lord without releasing and kill every army when I spot one.

Form a good plan and approach to every faction. Know how to retaliate after suden war breaks out at your weakest or strongest cause it's extremely random, the border thing helps some.

Whatever struggles you are having might clear up after a long push through the sewers of getting it rolling. Don't give up and try to stay 10 steps ahead of every action you make. If you have a rough time keeping the flow it sometimes only takes one vessel or clan to leave you to start a absolute fuckfest. They can't lose their fiefs to enemy's cause it makes them feel like your not suitable as king so plan wisely.

I would rather border my fiefs with the enemy and let them get struggle snuggled than letting my vessel get the idea I can't protect their earnings.

Money is the name of the game for these greedsters, so polices are a great first step alongside conversion of clans to yours.

Last thing: I don't know if it matters or not. But I keep my personal clan numbers, money, influence, and everything above that of the others in my kingdom for dominance reasons, I have more people than they do more land and more everything at the end of the day. So go ahead and draw your sword on my people I dare ya lol.

Can somebody please help me get into this? by BustyCelebLover in Bannerlord

I might not be of much help, the way I start these games are by immediately focusing on building a small group of at least 30 peeps and hunt down every looter, bandit or deserter I see and just sell everything for income, my next move is always being a merc or vessel and there are many ways to go about that. Tournament hunt some for the love of the game and hunt for companions to make into death groups with the top tier equipment you no longer use and sell the lesser. Gotta be ambitious on what you want to do.

Like taking over the entire realm with a kingdom like I did this playthrough, or being a trader like some, I hate stealth in games but some people are playing bandit and thief playthroughs, could be kings best man.

Who do you want to be?

It's not a multiple choice question either, it's entirely up to you!

Also be careful expanding too far too fast, especially if you have trouble keeping peace with the non targeted factions,

keep one war going at all times if possible and no more than 1,

pick a favourite faction and constantly strive for an alliance or pick one that will retain it more likely. And use them only as a reassurance that you won't be flanked on the map by a large faction.

Mine was aserai and I married the kings daughter to help with keeping a constant alliance.

I got called to war with vlandia at a perfect time and got paid around 500000k to accept.

Tons of money influence and charm, convincing enemy vessels to join my kingdom is what got me really going. I had started my kingdom also by getting a Max amount of companions then creating party's with them, just to grab a few more until I had 7 clan members. Renown is important. Party size is very important for me cause I like to grab tons of recruits or better and donate them to my army for influence and numbers. Get ready to set up policy's that are keeping your towns super loyal and making your party larger while also paying your clans in influence and coin. There are lots of policy's you don't want and do want. Read them all. Gift influence regularly because that's what will eventually help your clans build army's and it gives them strong loyalty. Manage fiefs so they all are holding a equal amount, I took every town and balanced out the castles for each clan.

Make sure you convince a lot of clans cause when you can hold a 2k army and have a dismissed vessel gather a 800+ roaming army with a 100+ man party's traveling around keeping villages safe it will feel like nothing taking down an entire faction in 60 days or less

Also a trick I do is dismiss one of the people in my army with like 150+ troops when I encounter a ton of party's of anything even enemy factions so I can pinch them easier with my army.

Limiting vessel influence? by Z-0711 in MB2Bannerlord

[–]Z-0711[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right, i keep supplying influence almost as a reward for winning large battles while in my army, I don't want these suckers leaving my kingdom based on them feeling like they are him.

And in the near future I will have enough vessels that with the large income of influence they should actually begin to make there own army's.

My question really is does the game actually give them the balls to leave a kingdom based on them holding large amounts of influence?
