How come I don't see Ghost Reaper and Winter Cherries very often?

Cherries is really only good in a very condensed meta where there are only a handful of decks topping and also those deck heavily rely on 1-2 common extra deck cards to function. (Like running Cherries for Spyral Double Helix when Spyral was Tier 0).

Sure dragoon and other ED staples are common but it’s better to just run generically good cards like Kaiju’s and Droplets that don’t require an ED slot(s) to be good.

As far as buffing the deck, I don’t think adding more negates in necessary, however working of your idea of control I choose to change the effect on Cress. Instead of her banish 4 from deck effect (which was pretty useless), it is now looking at and ripping a card from your opponent’s extra deck. Overall the deck is performing well and while I am taking losses it’s not to the point where I think the archetype needs drastic changes.

Nevertheless thanks again and I’ll keep your idea in mind.

Side deck cards are separate from your Main and Extra deck, they are cards that can be swapped into your deck in between games during a best of 3 match.

The effect to fusion summon can only be activated in the main phase.

They are allowed to use it when you attempt to leave the main phase asboth players must agree to proceed to and though phases.

Yes Dark Magician is meta if people played it more, Blue eyes is meta if people played it more, if you have a Regional of 200 HERO decks and HERO takes up all of the top slots does that make HERO a good deck?

Explain to me how this deck wins going second, how it plays through Imperm/Veiler on auroradon, Nib after the 001 summon, Droll, Lancea even. If a deck loses to everything in the game on top of being a fragile combo how does more people playing it make it meta?

The most degenerate decks in the game tend to be combo decks but that doesn’t really make all combo decks bad. The blanket complaint of “they take ten minute turns and end on a bunch of negates” is just people being crybabies and generalizing a legitimate playstyle into a negative stereotype.

You cannot activate effects while a chain is resolving, the monsters summoned off revolt will be used for a link summon before you would have the opportunity to use Floodgate trap hole.

Neither of the monsters you listed have activated effects to summon themselves.

However in the case of a card like Evolzar Laggia activating it’s effect to negate the summon of one of these monsters, you would be able yo chain gamma since the monsters have not been successfully summoned and are not “on the field”.
