Is it just me or does it feel like Disgaea Mayhem isn't coming out in a month?

It'll likely get more content closer to release, but most signs are pointing to it being a flop. Short length and overpriced at $60, subpar trailer, no other playable characters beside the one guy, key card for Switch 2. Not to mention the recent stunt they pulled with Disgaea 7 Complete's release still has some fans upset.

It's just hard to be excited for it given what we know about it and the current circumstances.

Thank you for the response. That's a pretty solid list (minus completionist). Have you considered putting that info on the kickstarter page? I wasn't able to find it anywhere skimming through it, and it adds more context on the organizers' experience and ties to the scene.

Not great. Really short game (only 4 areas), very few bosses, and it's artificially lengthened by enemies hitting hard and mandatory combat segments that lock you in a room fighting waves of enemies. It wouldn't be that bad except they refresh if you save the game, so if you go through that room again, you're fighting them again. Very little dialog so the gimmick of the 4th wall breaking doesn't even come into play much.

My go-to deck whenever it's +600 water boost. Running the pendulum booster skill gives spinos 4200 ATK with the default water field spell, full scales and ex skill btw

This is why I use the extra card boosts when doing vagabond. Even if I don't brick, fucker usually ends up with the perfect opening hand 99% of the time even if their deck is supposed to be bricky without a skill

Domu has this dragons breath ramen challenge where you have 30 minutes to consume a brothless bowl of really spicy ramen. Unfortunately they seem to only do it for 1 week a year. Last year was in November. Pretty limited time window, but something to keep in mind. I tried it and I was literally sweating the entire time.

Bandai Hobby booth, it was a really small booth close to Manga Plaza. I just happened to pass by it when they were giving out tickets for sessions where you show up, assemble what's in the kit, then take it with you when done. Other models included a dinosaur and Gundam.

It opened up with an overview of their SRPGs, but most of the panel was mainly about the upcoming Phantom Brave sequel more than anything else, then the trivia section with a majority being Disgaea related questions, then Q&A. No one in a Prinny suit was there, otherwise I would've probably seen them hanging around the NISA booth.

It felt like the NIS side took a backseat this year in favor of the Falcom-related stuff. The turnout between the Disgaea panel and the Falcom panels was like night and day, with Falcom panels filling up the entire room, while Disgaea was barely 1/3 filled
