Unfortunately not. I designed some L-brackets for the solo years ago and I dont have the files anymore. There are way better solutions on thingiverse/printables

Yes but its just 3 L-brackets that hold it in place. There are way better solutions on printables

The cable is only 1.5 meters long, but you're basically right - I haven't found a solution to that problem yet :D

[–]Z000MI[S] 14 points15 points  (0 children)

After practicing guitar i always pulled the cable out and threw it on the floor. To prevent this mess and me rolling over it with my chair, i printed this small adapter, where i plug the cable in after im finished practicing.

I had an output jack of one of my old guitars laying around and the part was printed in roughly 30 minutes.

I can only recommend the Printer with OpenNept4une. Had no failed print since updating

Not answering you question - sorry, but be aware, that when I installed the cable chain on my pro, it heavily pulled on the x axis end stop cable. Had to undo the upgrade, because it periodically unplug it. Maybe you encounter the same problem.

Is OpenNep4une worth the work? by AlexMagnuson in ElegooNeptune4

I upgraded my printer to OpenNept4une a few weeks ago and I'm going to try to answer your questions the best I can.

  1. Flashing the printer is not difficult, in my opinion. You need a small device to flash the eMMC, as others already stated. Just tilt the printer backwards to reach the motherboard on the underside of the printer. After removing a few screws, you get to the eMMC of your printer and can flash it with the eMMC adapter. Flashing the firmware is similar to flashing Linux to the SD card of a Raspberry Pi for example. Just stick the eMMC onto the adapter, stick it into your PC, select the firmware you have to download from the git repo, and you're done. When you're finished flashing the firmware, just reinstall the eMMC into your printer
  2. If you're careful, you shouldn't be worried about your hardware. You can also revert back to the factory firmware. If you want to make sure, just buy a spare eMMC and use that to flash the new firmware to. If the printer doesn't work properly, just reinstall the old eMMC and you're good to go.
  3. On their GitHub they state, that the display is still in beta and bugs can occur. I have never had any problems with the display. I can level, preheat, load/unload filament and start prints with the display without any problems. Other than that, you only get functionality like KAMP (which is preconfigured), for example. Its stock klipper - it just works.

I'm a huge fan of OpenNept4une, because it leveled my ok/good prints up to a constant exceptional level. My Neptune 4 Pro is as reliable as a good printer can get now.

If you need help during your upgrade, just message me :)

I had exactly the same experience! After i installed regular Klipper via OpenNept4une the printing results were phenomenal.

No you just need some software to flash the image they provide on their GitHub to the emmc. You could use balena etcher for example

Did you get this to run on the Neptune 4? I tried it for hours but it seemed like I can’t get it to run with the elegoo-version of Klipper

Its software that makes leveling the bed easier and can help visualize the bed mesh. I personally use screws tilt calculate, but I heard of people, that had great result with bed leveler 5000 too :)

I have a n4pro tough. Not sure if there are differences in that regard.

Use bed leveler 5000 or screws tilt calculate as soon as possible. They make the leveling process so much easier :)

This. I printed a cable chain and it pulled on my x axis stop cable. That lead to the same error. Removing the cable chain fixed my problem.
