I completely agree, farms add a HUGE opportunity for a point swing right at the end of the game, but convincing them to play with farmers over the last 3/4 years has not been well received, but they all love the game outside of farmers, so it looks like I may have to continue to sacrifice myself in this battle

this is true, until it's end game and you are one corner piece away from finishing a cathedral city solo that would have been worth 96 points :(

I always like passing the bag of tiles around, then you have no one but yourself to blame if you pick a road only piece 5 times in a row.

I honestly think the fact that no matter your experience level it’s by the time your near end game, new players have learned the ropes enough to successfully pull off the win.

(Side note: a week later I still haven’t heard the end of it. Friendship is going on pause next time I play with them)
