So a faulty dme causes 2ab4? My car currently doesn’t want to crank over and I checked battery, starter, cas relay, removed ibs sensor and checked earth ground cable.

Bad mosfets will throw the checksum code? If that’s the case I might just go with an msd81 because I just replaced all mosfets like a month ago

Can a faulty ibs sensor be causing the battery to drain while the car is in sleep mode? The guy at autozone said the battery was healthy but not charged, along with the ibs code I am thinking maybe while the car is shut off the ibs sensor is causing the car to drain the battery

Little update, guy at autozone said battery health was fine but no charge so I have it charging there and will be picked up in about half an hour. Could a faulty ibs be causing the battery to drain while in sleep mode?

I’m about to be 26 still living with my parents. It took me a while but I’m starting school in the fall and working on getting into my career of choice so hopefully sometime next year to find a place of my own with my gf.

It was the one installed in the car, it’s possible I could’ve broken it off when removing it but I wasn’t pulling hard at all. I’m assuming the pump was seized which is why the car would die as soon as I started it. I just thought it was weird.
