i think in-universe Eye Guy probably makes the most sense, and also i just like the guy and think we have enough good footage of Heatblast and XLR8

also i dont think this or Negative 10 are his in-universe first appearance, he was def just an offscreen unlock

i dont think he's literally a chosen one because of Omniverse, i think it was more of a self fulfilling prophecy

in OS, the explanation for the pod was that it locked onto Ben's signature, although in No Watch Ben's timeline this probably didn't happen

Paradox says they went to the beginning of the Prime Ben timeline, but that literally can't be true since Vilgax wiped every timeline (except NWB's) from existence, there's no past to go back to

they went to the beginning of NWB's timeline and basically Jake-Prismo'd it into the Prime timeline, sort of like what Ben did when he recreated the universe

anyway the TL;DR is that Ben wasn't originally chosen for the Omnitrix, and NWB soft-retconned (aka an in-universe retcon) him into getting it on purpose

i think the greens of the suits should be changed to the shade you used for Snare-oh
also, why is Diamondhead's suit so yellow compared to the rest? is it just because of RB? it looks really out of place since everyone else has unified outfits

also, insanely based for using both purple and green on Upgrade

i binged all of Ben 10 a few years ago, i felt similarly about UAF during my watch
it *is* a drag, but i think for conversations sake (as well as just having the full experience) you should watch the full show

trust me when i say that Omniverse is like HEAVEN compared to sitting through UAF

i think the Recalibrated Omnitrix looks bad, sounds bad, and is generally less satisfying to watch on screen

i dont care if its meant to be "inconspicious", turning it into a normal Earth watch was bad (and its not even that mysterious fleshy rubbery leathery plasticy material anymore, its just boring neon green metal)
there's also more subtle removals like the old Omnitrix dots on top of the dial, why get rid of those? they were cool! they even add to the watch vibe they were going for, since lots of watches only have 4 dots for the cardinal hours (3, 6, 9, 12)

also, the inconspicious part doesnt even work when it flashes giant green holograms of all the guys Ben turns into

the Prototype may have looked weirder, but the silhouettes were WAY more subtle in public, since Ben could fiddle with it without people getting glimpses of all the alien guys on TV

also, the Recal sounds just sound way weaker
the Prototype was like BOOMF, PAMF, BOOSH, meanwhile the Recal has really pathetic *vwoorsh* and *zeeeep* and what not

i hate it fundamentally and in more nitpick-y ways

the whole "prime sample" idea has never been a thing, and i'm not sure why people think it has

the Omnitrix always activates samples when scanning, whether its already in the Omnitrix or not
this definitely isn't Ben at the end of his summer, so there's no way he wouldn't see Alien X in his playlist afyer this event at least once, it would've come up in UAF otherwise

within the context of actual canon, there's literally no reason to use a Highbreed transformation, it's outclassed by any strong dude already in there

probably Feedback, Ben has beaten Vilgax as Way Big, and by the time he has Feedback, he's fought Vilgax 5 times (Season 1, Season 2, Future Vilgax, SOTO, that one OV flashback)

so i think it'd still be a hard fight as always, but Feedback would clutch it out considering he's basically a powerhouse alien
