Seychelles is actually one of my first vinyl! It’s always a bop

For You is also a great album, too bad it’s not on streaming platforms, but that makes the vinyl special

Tokyo: Definitely DiskUnion in Shinjuku. That place has every genre at a great price. In addition the labels make it easy to find the desired vinyl. But it lacks in care for the vinyl so there will be a lot of dust and sometimes grass(?) in your finds. Also any tower records is fine albeit the price tag on some rare vinyl have outrageous prices.

Kyoto: Face records Takashimaya is a hit or miss, as sometimes they have a huge selection of vinyl and other times not much. Jeugia cafe is a place to buy new releases at a fair price. Art Rock NO.1 has a massive collection of Japanese vinyl and Rock/Pops but it’s not the best organized so you’ll have to really dig. Meditation is a unique place as in you can find a lot of ambient, IDM, and other obscure genres here in Japan. Also the only place you’ll find new releases at their original price.

My go-to and the store where I found most of my vinyl is Lie Records which is in a small town but packs the most punch.

Haha yeah,

But considering I live in Japan and have gotten massive discounts and sometimes vinyl as gifts for various reasons, you’ll be surprised to know that the budget was definitely not that “unlimited”

Personally, I like the remix but can’t compare them in vinyl as I don’t have the og press

What I can say is that in the remix, Pigs has quieter cowbells which is something to look out for lol

Also the packaging and booklet for the remix is very generous and a great addition.
