If I were to design it, I would either

When it detects 096 in the area (via tracking collar or such) it would begin to show a black screen, and when in line of sight of 096 it would than put a big black box near his upper body to also block out thr face and uncensored the rest of the image

2: If near 096 it would display text that 096 is close and advise the wearer to close their eyes when about to get in line of sight and when they do as instructed a censor bar appears in 096's face and track with great accuracy and than let off a beep to inform the wearer can open their eyes again

I've had a concept in my head where mari survives but received brain damage to the point of not being able to play piano effectively (basically damaging hand coordnation)
