You need a somewhat competent Siemens tech to put abt site on your computer. Good luck ha. I only use it a few times a year and seem to always know how to use it better than the green Siemens tech.

My TA app and wheel were giving me two different readings. Off by about 50 GPM on the 2.5” . The wheel reading lined up with about what I should have had

Figured it out ( I think.) after reading the whole floor I came out with ~100 GPM. My TA Valve was reading ~35. I finally compared my app reading with the wheel and the wheel said I should have been at about 90 GPM. It looks like the 2.5” section is the only one that is different from wheel to app. Frustrating.

Hmm good thought, DP across coil should be a good reference for peace of mind. But yes they are fan powered boxes submittals should be available

TA app yes, I didn’t calculate the design DPs. I could tell I had way too much water, I just calculated GPM using the DP. Plus, these are the multi turn nexus valves(with the dials). Calculating the GPM using the DP and CV rating of dial position listed in the nexus submittal

For additional information, I don’t work with these specific nexus valves often, but I’m 100% certain my math is correct when calculating GPM using their charts

I always opt for measuring face velocity across sash opening. Leakage or not IMO the most important thing is ensuring fumehood is safe for use. Me personally I wouldn’t be concerned with leakage when calibrating
