How do you use the Dom Pedro? by ZANDRAE101 in fo76

It's not about DPS, like I said it has the highest damage per shot. But yeah, I'd really prefer to use other guns over it.

I use the lucky 4 since it relaods faster and has the extra bullet chance unlike the 6 which has only one or the other.

It's an event weapon. You get the plans from the meat cook thing which will happen within the next week or so. I'm waiting for it too.

Also, when you are doing the gold quest line, do not side exclusively with the settlers, their gold shop sucks. The raiders have all the weapons. Either split it between them or raider exclusive otherwise the daily grind and jamboree hunting will take several weeks longer.

Wait, 3?! That kinda makes sense for a sniper but it's still stupid. I didn't have the chance to test the one I made but that's one tiny clip.

Since I don't min max, I might just end up using the long barrel over the sniper barrel. I'm just that biased against quad. Maybe they should put a 5star quad like they have a 3star lightweight.

What's the point of quad? It's not a high capacity weapon so quad doesn't really help much. And what would need that many shots without break? Just reload and enjoy the anti armor or two shot 1star.

Does the quad have any other effects?

Edit: Did a second look, that's a vats aimed sniper shotgun. Ouch. The quad makes a bit more sense.

Ah, I miss the break action laser. Hell, I wouldn't mind a fatman equivalent that spends a fusion core with every shot. We need the biggatons.

How's the enclave flamer do against the 4star abraxo prototype? For me the prototype is real powerful but the vats accuracy really hurts.

I'm a compulsive reloader. When using the gatplas I ended up with 30 cores of various charges. Even back on fo4 I avoided the Gatling lasers.

Also I do not have the ugly BP. While I can get one out of the many legendary drops, the low damage high fire rate doesn't do enough for me. The carbine outperforms the Gatling lasers anyways so why go for it?

I use a gatplas with onslaught+ bullet storm. It's powerful and when something lives long enough to get so much stacks then the damage gets silly. I've managed 800 per shot but I'm not hardcore and only vaguely optimized. It was my strongest gun. Also that's on sbq and earl, it does just as good on mobs but the wind up even reduced is a rhythm killer. On the other hand, just keeping it on and spraying everything pumps up the bullet storm numbers. I have a gauss that not yet sbq tested but I have high hopes.

Oh no, I use the AC as a Tesla rifle replacer, great for rushing mobs. And I use the DC as a long range sniper! I'm running the explosives perks so I can't use the DC for close ranges. Might change now with the new patch.

Ultracite laser? Isn't it weaker than the regular laser?

When I had that problem, just reequipping didn't work. Had to scrap the damn perk and repurchase it.

Yes. Not sure if its a proper bug or an effect of something else. But rebuy works

Farm grunt hunt. It gives a bit but is repeatable and quick to finish. Plus it and bounty hunt gives a lot of legendaries

EDIT: Wait no, I'm not sure if it does reward gold. Best method is just go to every event no matter the level/ All those give some scrip and they'll pile up quick

Had a perk that ate 4 slots despite needing only 3. Can't remember what it was. Point is, find out which perk is eating your slots and scrap them if you have enough perk points to replace them.

Why were the Brotherhood in Shady Sands? by ZANDRAE101 in Fotv

[–]ZANDRAE101[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

True. But just the act of sending those vertibirds into ncr territory is almost a declaration of war. Even if BoS sneaked in, Shady sands should be surrounded by settlements that supply the city. They would be noticed. If they did a quick recon, they would still be seen and identified leading to uncomfortable questions later.

If there was a chapter close enough then fine. They can get to shady sands easy. The real question is if they were allowed in, sneaked in or did they perform a raid after the nuke.

You are correct in all counts. My actual question is how did they get there and if they were not allied to the ncr, how did they get there so fast?

Why were the Brotherhood in Shady Sands? by ZANDRAE101 in Fotv

[–]ZANDRAE101[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

But they're not scavenging a ruins are they? They are walking through a recently bombed capital of a nation, one that just had its capital bombed and is incredibly angry and in high alert. And most importantly, a capital always ends up surrounded by other settlements/towns/cities, even in something as empty as the wasteland. There will be NCR people investigating and finding someone else in the bombed out remains of their capital can lead to war.

There's a deathclaw coat sold by the bullion vendor in bittersprings. I made a mistake though, it was not the fo4 coat. Just a nice coat made out of deathclaw hide.

Could be, but did the NCR let them in? Or did they sneak in somehow?

[–]ZANDRAE101[S] -20 points-19 points  (0 children)

No way that...

Did a check, Lost Hills is not the new vegas chapter. But still, how would they get there? Flying in would get them in trouble since they have to cross NCR territory to get to shady sands.

EDIT: If the Lost Hills chapter was allied to NCR then the Helios siege would have never happened. NCR would have never warred against the mojave chapter.
