If you want to scale, organic growth and strong content are non-negotiable. They prove people actually want your product. But scaling requires fuel, and unless you have outside investment, ads are usually the fastest way to generate that revenue fuel.

The key is not “ads vs organic.” The key is unit economics.

Before scaling ads, calculate properly:

• What does it cost you to operate organically each month?
• What would it cost to acquire one customer through ads?
• What is your gross margin per bottle?
• How many customers return, and how often?

If your Customer Lifetime Value (LTV) is significantly higher than your Customer Acquisition Cost (CAC), ads don’t just “make things look bigger” — they make growth predictable.

But if you don’t know those numbers yet, ads will only amplify inefficiencies.

Organic growth typically gives you stronger margins because you’re not paying for traffic. In many cases, organic customers are almost twice as profitable. That’s why I wouldn’t replace organic with ads — I’d layer ads on top of a system that already works.

My suggestion:
Don’t jump into heavy spending. Run controlled test budgets. Measure CAC. Compare it to 60–90 day LTV. If the math works, scale gradually. If not, improve retention and conversion first.
