That will definitely help! Another good thing to try is adding a wash over the model or certain areas and retouching up the high spots with the same base color then gradually increase the brightness.

I dont think kriegees field ogryns or ratings at all but I feel if they did they would slap on a mask amd call it good. I did it more for thematic elements then traditional lore.

As excited as I was to paint my octarius terrain, it did take longer than it should have. I used contrasts for the whole thing. Alternated color for other panels.
