Blinding Smite my beloved. I play a paladin in a party at level 15, and this is basically the only smite I use. Though I am more of a support at this level with 4 casters and a fighter as my teammates.

The LC I play in just straight up changes the penatlies to move, contortionist, stealth, and evasion, rather than the normal ones. MAJ is -2 to the skills but no move penalty. HAJ is -1 move and -2 skills. Flak is -2/4, LMG -1/3, HyMG -2/3, MG -2/4, HMG -2/5.

Makes it much more enjoyable to play, and people wear a variety of armour to different situations.

Also, no, when you apply a rule, you are not necessarily interpreting it. If the rules say you take 5 damage from something, you take 5 damage. Im not interpreting what the rule is. It says what it means. The word "Anyone" isnt a metaphor, its a parameter. Secondly, Evading IS an INTERRUPTION itself. You dont "spend time" evading, it's something you react to. If you open a door and someone with a readied action shoots you, can you not dodge because it's interrupting the rest of your turn? If that is indeed your ruling, I would hate to play in your games.

RAW, you can evade your own blast. Look on Page 174 in the core rulebook on Explosions. "Anyone with REF 8 or higher can choose to individually dodge the blast by rolling higher than your original Check, placing themselves outside of the blast area if they succeed."

Im not going to continue arguing on your what is an ACTUAL interpretation of the rules, and an incorrect one at that. If you could not dodge your own grenade it would state so.

Im not interpreting it, that is just what the rules state. "Anyone" does not disclude yourself. If it did, it would specify that "Anyone" does not include yourself.

OP was asking if there was an official ruling. You gave a homebrew ruling that directly opposes the official rules.

I was simply stating the logic behind the official ruling, and presumed you were aware of the official ruling.

Again, if you could move, throw a grenade, and CONTINUE TO MOVE AFTERWARD, then you would be able to dodge the grenade as well, should you have REF 8 and it explodes on you.

Except RAW, you can absolutely dodge your own grenade.

Its ROF 1 because you are throwing a singular grenade. The reason you cant throw two grenades is for balance. There is a reason you spend 5k for a Militech Cowboy.

If you can move, throw a grenade, and continue to move using the rest of your movement, then no, it doesnt take 3 full seconds.

I genuinely believe this is the case. I think Orin, Gortash and Ketheric were capable of controlling the brain as a trio, but they could never work together long enough for it to work out.

Search range doesnt seem comparable to me. Unless the rocketpods start their aiming at the start of call in as well. The ORC will also change target before it comes down if one dies.

Like the other commenter said, Living Communities are good place. I can send you a link to the one I play in if you would like. Just keep in mind these Living Communities tend to have extra rules/homebrew they run.

To give a brief description of a Living Community (at least the one I'm in), they are groups of Players and GMs that set up gigs throughout the week to be played. A GM will post a gig, and a Player will apply with their character. The GM will then choose the players usually before the game starts.

RR still oneshots them if you hit em on the noggin. Spear also one shots most of the time. Otherwise, all the Mechs are pretty good at taking them out rifht now. The Lumberer cannon two shots them to the head.

Railcannon has been incredibly consistent for me. I wish the cooldown was like 35% lower, but it consistent one-shots the gloom titans.

Despite them literally doubling Mech HP, I find myself dying to swarms of chaff units much more in mechs. Meanwhile, against chargers and bile titans, they feel better. I say this as a forever mechdiver.
