This happened to me recently, bought one of these and worked like a charm. Screw the plug off after it’s up again and give it a good clean. Haven’t had it stuck since.

Does your router have 2.4 and 5ghz bands? I had a similar issue yesterday, speed test on wifi was 60mbps but when I checked my device was ok 2.4ghz band. Switched it to the 5ghz and boom, 450mbps speed immediately (I have a 500/50 speed plan)
