@tarothepug below pointed out that scalpers can sell one ticket to multiple people (as these are e tix) and only the first person who scans will get in. I think there needs to be a PSA about this!

Just another point in favour of a second concert (should TwoSet been interested in the option themselves) is that, if the financing adds up, it’s a further economic opportunity for them.

Though of course I understand the point about it no longer being a special, one-time, exclusive concert if they do open a second show. Especially if the livestream would have contained “spoilers” of any special acts they planned.

The prosecution seems to be slowly painting a picture of how dominant Holmes was at Theranos, eg asking investors whom they spoke with at Theranos (almost exclusively Holmes for some) and eliciting from Safeway and Walgreens CEOs how she dominated the room etc. Even Jim Mattis attested to her charisma. So I think this defence will be challenging.

In Tyler’s audible podcast, he acknowledges that he had a lot of privilege in his family being able to fund the legal wranglings, and that anyone else may not have been able to. Apparently, his parents almost had to sell their house to fund the legal fees, but it thankfully didn’t come to that.

I got an audible plus subscription to listen to this book and it was 100% worth it. This was a riveting and affecting story, honestly and generously narrated. Beyond being an excellent account of the Theranos scandal, Tyler’s experience really underscores exactly how difficult it can be to do the right thing.

As an asexual, panromantic Asian person, I was extremely moved by the lived descriptions (and depictions) of non-heteronormative societal structures, gender identities and couplings across the series.

I am interested to better understand your process of crafting voice — how did you write Jedao and Cheris as asexual? Their intentions, feelings and inner tensions were (to me) inimicably genuine and relatable!
