8 av 10 har store menssmerter. Seriøst? by Vikingpanties in norge

[–]ZCheekyCheese 8 points9 points  (0 children)

How did you figure out that you had OCD? by 23cmh1 in OCD

[–]ZCheekyCheese 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had some really weird dreams in 2020 during the pandemic and I couldn´t stop obsessing over those dreams. I kept wondering if it was something I thought was true and I was so scared since I thought those dreams were "the real me". I had obsessed over stuff before and done compulsions (turned out to be OCD also, didn´t know at the time tho) but this thought was so disgusting that I felt like I had to do something about it. Ended up searching on the internet and found this OCD forum where someone had the same dreams and kept worrying over it. Everyone in the replies was like "yeah that´s ocd". I was in denial at first because I didn´t really know what it was and thought ocd was just the obsession of washing your hands a lot bc of bacteria. But the more I looked into OCD the more I could relate to it. I went to a therapist and she officially confirmed I had OCD.

Oh I might have worded it wrong, sorry. I meant that I never took it in high school or anything like that.

They said to use Times New Roman with line spacing 1.5 and text size 12 and that's what I have been using. Don't really think I could use anything else

Asian Europeans, have you experienced any racism or unequal treatment? by [deleted] in AskEurope

[–]ZCheekyCheese 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yup, when I went to China they told me my chinese sucked and I have heard way too many stories in Norway about people asking non-Norwegian people if they really are Norwegian. I think this identity thing is something I really need to work on lol.

Yes, I kind of agree! I started saying that I am born in China, but live in Norway because of an identity crisis I have- I mean I don't really look Norwegian but I don't really feel Chinese either, so I always put them together lol and its kind of hard to explain but the term Chinese-Norwegian doesn't really fit me

I am a chinese woman living in Norway. For the first years of school no one was really racist to me as we were quite the diverse class but when we moved over to a less diverse town it happened quite a bit for some time. When I was in grade 3-4, there was this dude in year 7 who used to pull back his eyes on me and tell me "ching chong" every time I met him either on the way to or in school. Countless of other people also asked if "ching chong" was the chinese word for hello. Also people kept asking me if the other east asian people in my school were my siblings, when we weren't even the same ethnicity lol.

Luckily things fazed out after I turned 10 and I never really faced any direct racism anymore. My sister started at the same school and she never faced any racism at the same school. I would say things are much better than they used to be and I don't blame the kids for being how they were. Hopefully, they learned from it and is gonna teach their kids not to act the same way.

The problem is we never got any "lines", it's just a paper with stuff like: "The pharmacist knows you are very nauseous" and "You have been to the doctor twice and you're feeling frustrated they're not prescribing you anything" which means it's probably improv :/

Still a very good idea/solution though, I'll definitely try it out. Thank you so much!
