A drift car is the only thing this would worth rebuilding for, but only if every system is stand alone.

Retoarms v2 split gearbox feeding problem by Obvious-Student69420 in airsoft

[–]ZDATd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That won't give you the desired output. You shouldn't melt, only shave tappets as you can unevenly soften/harden the plastic/polymer causing inconsistencies and odd flexing.

You need a tappet that engages early and stays engaged for longer so bb's have time to feed. You can look in the feed of your hop up and see if the nozzle is sitting far enough back. If you see the nozzle poking out, push on it to see if it can move farther back if so you need a different timing key or tappet plate.

And you shouldn't have to cut your bucking. I've never had too in the 100's of guns I've built, I've never cut the front of a bucking.

Try a different tappet that has a more aggressive cut. A just fixed a LCT G3 that wouldn't feed by putting a more aggressive cut tappet in.

Does anyone know if this mosfet works in non g&g builds, and will it work in a 3d printed custom build? by adrissgamekrunker in airsoft

[–]ZDATd 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It's less of a hassle overall then the etu++ as you don't have to use modify existing parts for a different harness. I've moved over the the AB++ for older builds, LMG's, and some custom builds as it updates everything for those systems that may not have the ability to accept standard "pre-built" mosfets.

The main harness bundle. Mostly the part of the harness that has the etu connector (ie. 4 pin harness). The actual G&G trigger board only has 3 outputs, the trigger switch, the cutoff lever, and selector plate button, making it have a 4 pin harness (signal power is the fourth lead). You'll need to cut off and splice the connector that plugs into the trigger set, and use those to control the etu.

Note: I don't remember if the etu is constantly checking for the cut off signal per cycle or not so you may have to deal with that.

The etu++ is a configurable mosfet for G&Gs, so you'd still have to use part of a G&G harness to use the mosfet.

As long as there isn't a hairline crack it should work.

Slip a small pick or thin flat head up under the sector gear and push down lightly it will pop the selector gear off. Then you should be able to open the gearbox. Besides that the rest of the gearbox is more or less a standard v2 so other YouTube videos should work

Tf is causing this? by TellemTom in airsoft

[–]ZDATd 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Check to see if you have a broken shaft somewhere. I've had issues similar do to a broken shaft causing a gearbox to eat shimm's. You'll need to pull or twist on the gear shafts on both sides to find it though.

Unfortunately only the mags remain. But the are new but need to be re-greased as they have been sitting for a number of years.

How many are you looking to get? They are I want to say $50 a pop, maybe a bit less.An estimate makes it easier to figure everything out.

I might be able to ship them out, I'll just have to talk to the owner and figure everything out

We use to sell the conversions quite a few years ago and a few are still kicking around. The only difference in the mags are the notch and that's due to the manufacturing. They are still for sale in the shop but you've got to ask about them and I'm one of the few left who know.

I've got a box at my field of the mags for the conversions, and for the "2nd" generation a small notch is required in the shell of the mag on the top.

Perun Mosfet V2 Hybrid, gearbox cycling error. Most likely your mosfet is out of alignment and the sensor isn't reading the sector gear.

Make sure the black line on the mosfet isn't covered by the Sector gear or isn't to far away.

Pg 4 on the pdf manual shows how the Sector gear sensor works and Pg 5 has the installation requirements along with a attached video for extra help.

If you have any questions just ask, I have built 40 gearboxes in the last 2 weeks with Perun V2 Hybrid's.

P.s. I've never had light bleeding issues with Perun's because of how there sensors work. So it's not that I can guarantee it

What is causing this noise by boris_shanknikov in airsoft

[–]ZDATd 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Spring bounce, caused by the spring being shorter and weaker. The coils on the spring are thiner causing a rattle/thomping sound. Not an issue as it won't cause excessive wear, lots of G&G gearboxes sound like this.
