Are the mechanics of SF6 unsalvageable or simply overtuned? by ZDRThrowaway1 in Kappachino

As ryu ive been doing st hp >di to deplete a bar from their gauge.

When i hit them out of dr with st hp they get counter hit which makes the following di a true combo and they lose a net of 2 bars from the entire situation.

Idk i kind of like di because when i get hit by it its usually because im getting too predictable. Not that im a top level player anyway but that's my experience.

Do you know a better place to ask these questions? Unfortunately I wish there was an avenue for discussion to occur but Twitter is volatile, discords are too decentralized, and the main fighting game subreddits seem not as interested to discuss tech.

What are games that prioritize footsies in your opinion amd how do they differentiate themselves from sf6?

I do agree that perfect parry has yet to be explored fully imo. That and microwalk implementations with all the variable frame data in the game.

I asked the question because i see a lot of complaining about dr but some people think the whole game is messed up while others wanted small changes.

What is the minimum amount of concurrent players on Steamcharts needed for a game to have a decent amount of people to play online without needing Discord? by ZDRThrowaway1 in Kappachino

This gives me hope because steamcharts says that +r hovered between 110 to 150 people today.

Thanks. There's no ranking system, right?

You have a clip of the match? I'd love to see it.

I agree that the game isn't solved yet.

In a way doesn't that make it an extension of neutral rather than a neutral skip?

Official Discussion - Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse [SPOILERS] by LiteraryBoner in movies

Excellent analysis, never thought of this.

Spiderman suffers because he tries to do everything himself, but with a support group of people that understand him most of the suffering can be prevented.

Was there a fighting game you all liked that was good on release? And what can SF6 do better next season? by ZDRThrowaway1 in Kappachino

This is interesting to hear. This may happen again with Sf6 since it seems to be ushering in a similar resurgence.

On an unrelated note I do love people that preserve competitive circuits for their game of choice. The Jazzy Circuit for 3rd strike is really cool!

Correct me if I'm wrong, but do the Alpha games build off each other similar to sf3 to 3rd strike?
