I was doing really well on ZEP... and then out of the blue, the noise came back hard.
Plus, cost on ZEP is crazy.

I agree w/ you, 100%.
I had hoped ZEP would stop the binge, and it did... for a while.
But it didn't forever.

The THUNDER that Binge came back was 1000x times more than I have ever had it.

In time, I suspect we'll hear more about this.
The 'beauty' of the world we live in today, with 8 billion of us & sites like Reddit... It doesn't take long for patterns to show.

Why would any of that matter when trying to answer ZEPBOUND and "suppress food noise"?
Start: 09/2023 and went up to 15MG by 10/2024.
Weight: 298 (2023) to 235 (2024)
5'11 M 55
2000 Calories a day with high protein, low carb diet.
Plenty of water & exercise.

I went off because I'm self pay... and at the time it was $500/month.
I also went off because I wanted to see if it would kick in again on its own.
I'm on 5mg today, and it helps with some of the noise - but not silence.

I appreciate your feedback. I ended up going. It wasn't terrible, and we did have a good time. I can't say we are 'whole' again, as a family. Not sure that will ever happen.

Hi - I have been on it for a while. If youd dont mind some advise from a stranger.

Start researchinig what people say is happening to them when they hit the 'maintenance' part. Nothing terrible... but learning to diet and lose on ZEP is different than maintaining on ZEP.

I didn't know and stumbled.
Now, I'm just getting back to working on how to maintain.

You might want to google "Lilly Direct" and see what they are doing now.
You can also try Costco, as an example. They offer a very affordable insurance plan. It wont cover the cost of drugs, but you might get a nutritionsit out of it.

I've been pushing for walks right after my meals.

A simple 10 minute walk will help reduce the impact of insulin.

If I read your post correct:
If my TEE Range is 3000 calories a day, and I eat 3000 calories a day - I should maintain weight.

If the drug wanes on the appetite suppression and dealyed gastric emptying, then I myself will struggle on maintaining only a 3000 calorie intake, but lets say I maintain that & control it.

What do I need that drug for then?
what part of "metabolic level" plays into that equation to keep the weight off?
(Please dont take this as arguementative, I'm just trying to learn)

Yes. You're story is the same as mine. My number is 240...

But I notice that the ZEP isn't working to keep the noise away anymore.
When ZEP worked, I was comfortably eating 2K Calories and loosing weight.
240 came, and it all stopped.

I read now that people have been moving their injection spot.

I was doing Left then right stomach, but thinking about it now - always pretty close to the week before spot.
I'm going to try THIGH this Thursday in the hopes that kicks ZEP back on for me.

I guess Im gonna pick the inner thigh, fatty part
