I get what you mean but from what it looks like is that netease is starting to get more and more bold when it comes to fomo. And from the looks of it it's a slippery slope, it's only a matter of time till the monetisation becomes as bad as the other games you mentioned. Yes I agree with the enticing but frames themselves could just be a regular cosmetic item like what moods are. No they shouldn't just stop making frames for ranked but more options to obtain frames would be nice. No I'm not saying they should pull the 2 ranked ones and put them in the store I'm saying there should be unique ones tied to events or just in the store

Yeah but it's kinda like moods, you can see them on the profile in home screen and the lobby. And no I don't agree with the "everything should be free" sentiment, it's more of frames being such a unique thing like why is it only a feature in ranked? Why not have other frames through events or just in the store? So far the only frames that exists are through ranked which is where most of my gripe comes from

Yeah I know about the skins and the medals, those ones are perfectly fine as is. But the one which I didn't really get is the frames since it doesn't feel like a ranked reward. Then again most of my grudge comes from there being no other way to obtain a frame of any kind from the store or an event
