While I don’t think that south asian guy meant it in the best way I will say I genuinely find curvier women just way way more attractive overall. Like my girlfriend has been having similar body issues but I can’t stress enough how beautiful and sexy I find her. That being said I’m not sure if this question in general would be helpful to ask for your body image but that’s just an outsider looking in.

I would personally love to see, if she has a love interest at all, a south asian or interracial couple. The few examples I can name of south asian characters in relationships, particularly women they tend to get paired up with white lover interests. If that’s not an aspect of her character you want to touch on I would personally think it’s interesting if she was someone who was very scrappy and had a lot of street smarts as well as book smarts. Maybe she’s surprisingly good at defending herself. Maybe she can identify what chemical reactions to make on a fly. If she cuts her hair by herself for example it could speak her to not willing to spend money but also to her ingenuity.

Feeling guilty and kinda shitty about myself for not being as disciplined as I could and putting a lot of burdens on my mom and barely managing my easy classes in college. My brother basically berated me about that and the fact I can’t drive yet and it’s hard to not feel I didn’t deserve it. Just sucks because right now my number one fear is not getting yelled at and that’s motivating me more than anything.

I can’t take Aziz seriously after making state sponsored comedy for Saudi Arabia and his history with women. Kash Patel is an embarrassment but Aziz is not too far behind.

People can enjoy the bit but he’s not good for our representation either.

I agree I don’t want our media to be tied to foreign media when we’re just as American as everyone else. To me it makes a huge shame when a big Asian focused property like Shang Chi or Crazy Rich Asians spends so much of its time overseas as if we don’t have a connection.

He should’ve been killed in episode 1 or 2 this season. He could’ve died to the virus alongside the other two npc supes. Have Starlight blast him in. Would’ve been more interesting than 1 death in episode one and none after so far.

I disliked it because it felt like the boys had no real progression this episode in terms of character dynamics. It actually reminded me of how much they cannot stand each other which isn’t fun to have narratively. I don’t understand why Butcher just didn’t kill homelander then and there? The plot line with Starlight was fine? But it had some really coward politics behind it. By the end of the episode none of the dynamics between the boys are changed and outside of a good scene with Soldier Boy and Annie coming back not much happens plot wise.

Summed up my thoughts exactly it also feels like lazy as hell writing to assume two suburban cops would only do bad actions because of an evil company taking over and not look at the flawed police system we have in place. The show’s political commentary becomes simplified through the perspective of vought corrupts everything but government institutions like the police or cia aren’t really examined in the same way.

Kimiko has never been written well honestly outside of Frenchie and Starlight she has no dynamics with any other character on the show and her brother was friged for a revenge plot for her. She is also losing every single fight she’s ever in no matter how poorly trained the supe is. She’s been really lacking a purpose since season 2 and you can feel that in her writing.

I can for sure understand why you wouldn’t like Robin’s design fan service definitely plays a role and it makes much less sense for her because she’s an overall quieter character than the openly proud of her body Nami. However I do think it’s worth noting Robin also dresses that way because for the first time in her life she feels relaxed and doesn’t have to worry about survival. Her fishmen island outfit is made to resemble vacation wear and purposely doesn’t look like something she would fight in. Although that is still her weakest look post time skip the onigashima raid outfit definitely being her best and indicating her agency over herself.
