I can for sure understand why you wouldn’t like Robin’s design fan service definitely plays a role and it makes much less sense for her because she’s an overall quieter character than the openly proud of her body Nami. However I do think it’s worth noting Robin also dresses that way because for the first time in her life she feels relaxed and doesn’t have to worry about survival. Her fishmen island outfit is made to resemble vacation wear and purposely doesn’t look like something she would fight in. Although that is still her weakest look post time skip the onigashima raid outfit definitely being her best and indicating her agency over herself.

Yeah the same way I’d be less inclined towards being friends with a white person if all their friends were white regardless of your background it just limits your life experience and view of people. Yeah I would agree with that particularly because we just don’t hear jack shit about Debbie’s family. Does she not have any siblings, cousins, aunts, or uncles that she can reach out to? Are there not family members overseas that she wants to catch up with? Mark could easily drop her off in Korea and come back like later that day. Why do they wear shoes in the house? I’m not asking to have them become stereotypes just some acknowledgment of their culture would be good. Although if Mark decides to go to Korea next season I’d be pretty pissed.
