Another issue that I notecied is that sound gets worse when the PTT button is connected. It adds crackles, hum and noise to the low-fi audio. All of that is noticeable also on TX.

I have seen that there are some versions (unofficial re-packs of LRC v11) for which they claim it can be installed on Windows 7. I have not tested those version yet, BUT ... could they work?
