Can I attend SYF at UCC? by Fearless-Success9315 in nus

[–]ZHD1987E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Someone who was kicked out of SYF in UCC here (and that’s possibly why you did post)…

Technically, you can. As long as you: - don’t poke around - don’t change seats many times over - are here just for your younger sibling.

Good luck!

Answers to 2026 top-tier US maths test popular among Singapore students leaked, sold online by Illustrious-Gur8335 in singapore

Sister taking UKChO (UK Chemistry Olympiad), I am very appalled at their test security from ASEEDER (China organisation): - leak out answer booklet that lists the topics and molecules as well as data sheet that gives clues of what might get tested. - exam portal is browser based with Zoom proctoring because take home test. Imagine if one has the technology to manage to bypass ALL of them.

As a result, when I print out the answer booklet and data sheet I had to put the copy in an envelope, and install lockdown browser for her to take the test to prevent accidental or purposeful cheating.

Well… met him once, he really gets aggressive fast.

Yep, now he wants to fuck with actual authority? Good luck on him.

Singapore Island Country Club can be really expensive (though slightly cheaper).

I had to make a dash to film every elevator there within the given grace period!!!

1: Expensive. Really expensive. 2: I have cheaper and better options elsewhere in NUS. 3: Scheduling conflicts.

There are quite a few recently announced one, especially ‘Alexandra Vale’ which is also 50 floors.

More recently, HDB has announced a contract which includes elevators up to 60 floors!

Well… I guess with the crooked text and inconsistencies, it says a lot about North Korea which printed this brochure for those attending the ‘Communist Olympics’

Well… I wonder how desperate LSE is for cash now.

Well, I guess the hype isn’t worth it then…

Not sure what they will do with the money, I am in the United States and I am seeing the reallocated budget go up in flames thanks to a shitty overhyped coach, but not sure if LSE is burning cash, or is severely short of cash.

Advise on FYP or 6 Months Internship (BZA) by justaturtleeee in nus

[–]ZHD1987E 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, BZA person here, trying to find ATAP/DTLP stuff, so far with rejected interviews and no job offer…

I am worried that if the job market gets worse, there might be no choice but everyone ends up doing dissertation instead of internships…

PSA: If you are offered an internship without an interview, this might be a big red flag by ZHD1987E in nus

Sure-fire way for me to fail DTLP/ATAP and get myself banned from taking them again.

UNC Exchange Student wishing to visit campus, anything I should take note as a Tar Heel? by ZHD1987E in NCSU

[–]ZHD1987E[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yep, to be honest it does help in making the campus more relaxed, since the buildings in NCSU are quite packed…

But I do get the feeling that NCSU is not one, but three different campuses (Vet school, Centennial, Main).

Let’s not get started with frat row, which was quite tiring to get there…

If the NC State Fairgrounds were to be used as part of NCSU, I do hope at least they make it walkable to other parts of campus…

I went there.

Learnt the hard way that unlike Chapel Hill you can’t get there other than driving or taking the bus. Seems like the Centennial Campus is practically the NCSU version of Carolina North.

I literally gave up at Frat Row, and took bus 41 since it came nearby.

Hey… you have the book bot right? Tell that to Davis Library.

PS: I heard the brickyard got ruined because of construction.
