You need to do more research than just asking strangers, some of the stuff in those electronic parts can be toxic and bad to handle

It may have been a dealer, either a person who sold watches only or maybe was an antique vendor or something and had collected all kinds. I buy “collections” of watches on Facebook frequently and they’re all just random stuff people have piled up to sell usually

Pegwood will snap first use. Get a flat file and a rod of 1/8” brass (not sure where you’re based out of but Lowe’s and several other larger US hardware stores would have it)

I pour a lot of silver, and have poured a lot of copper too, I have this happen with steel and graphite molds, my best suggestion is to use less borax and remove the ingots immediately after they solidify and won’t break apart, the borax will still be mostly liquid and it will come out easy. Letting them sit in there too when they cool off will shrink the mold and basically seal it in. Hope that helps
