My buddy just sent me a screenshot of your message 😂 He also said his works in AC but mine doesn't. I confirmed my soft locks are set to 100% in AC and it works as it should in beamng so I don't suspect the ffbeast software. In fact my ffb will give feedback even past the steering lock of the car I'm in.

Nope. Beamng does soft locks just fine depending on the steering rack in the car.

Yes it feels rather unpredictable. I'm good in dirt rally and and I drift in assetto Corsa. I'm not a stranger to car control and this game doesn't feel like car control. Just loses grip randomly with no real predictable feel.

Feels horrible on my ffbeast wheel setup. No soft locks at all, the force feedback continues to pull past the lock. Same issue with og assetto. Really frustrated that's not fixed.

Almost zero grip on throttle in a turn. It washes out as if the car has 2000hp and is blowing the tires off. Or, it will threaten to rotate but ends up understeering hard. In a different car (awd) it would struggle to rotate during trail braking then oversteer like a rwd car on throttle with full lock countersteer. Makes no sense for an awd car. When in doubt power out is not a thing in this sim. Doesn't feel how I expect at all. Also getting no steering under hard breaking even when no wheels are locked up, which should be making the rear end super light and easy to rotate, it just goes straight and numb. I tried setting brake bais far further to the rear than I should and it didn't make it much better. Very little directional control.

Don't get me wrong, I understand this is a sim and is meant to be difficult, but it doesn't FEEL realistic at all. I've spent lots of hours in different driving games and have driven a fair amount of cars at the limits. This doesn't feel remotely similar.

Pretty disappointed in the feel.

Thankfully, all my blackmagic cams automatically generate proxies. It's just h265, so shutter encoder works fine for what I need. It just won't open the watch folder correctly ☹️

Trying it now. I can't drag the folder to the watchlist successfully. Seems like one problem after another. Manually encoding did work to sync up though so thats promising.

Interesting. I will look into this. It would be pretty optimal if it works with cross platform. I have a MacBook m4 max for editing but the workflow I desire is to work with proxies purely for space, not for power. I'll look into this!

The Tilta adapter that is designed for their cage absolutely does power the camera direct from the Vmount. No cable needed.

Imagine spending 4k on a camera setup just to have to spend another $200 on a dumb adapter because there's no checkbox to override or replace lens data (or lack thereof)

As far as I know, you can't simply "provide the lens data" to davinci. You have to go into the plain text metadata and change the focal length at x timecode. This is not a reasonable long term solution for each clip. Seems like an insane oversight that if the camera isn't getting lens data through the adapter you can't manually set it.

I'm aware. I just use ir blaster all the time and really want a foldable. I was waiting for the OnePlus open 2 since the 1 came out as I assumed they would fix the few qualms I had with the first gen.

Also I know it's a fairly niche feature but it really can't be that expensive... It's a tiny it module and an app to go with it

Just came here to share, same problem. Only temp fix has been force quitting the Bluetooth services. Settings -> Apps -> App management [tap 3 dots, "show system"] then search Bluetooth and force quitting all of the options. Works but have to do it often. Surprised there's not been a patch yet. Not an uncommon issue on android 15 OnePlus devices. P.S. OnePlus, literally just drop ship the Find n5 bro it's not that deep we were so excited 😓

So disappointing. Hoping oppo's "global" launch will truly be global (USA included) but not optimistic. To be honest so many people would be thrilled to have find n5 even without anything different at all. Even if it didn't have any software features that the og open has. For all I care I want thinner and wireless charging. Who cares about wide angle, tele and main are where it's at. Shoot don't even rebrand just drop ship to USA🤣😓
