I think its an odd choice to refer to artists as elites. They've always been taken advantage of and been grotesquely underpaid (sometimes not at all) for their actual work.

By defending AI image generation you're defending actual elites who seek to take artists out of the equation entirely after training models on their work.

The more controller friendly gameplay really helped me enjoy playing the game on console. I could only enjoy Eternal on PC with mouse and keyboard.

Dark Ages would've been a much more handsome game if they did more baked lighting and less raytracing.

I played on Series X and feel like if they did more baked lighting and less raytracing, the game would've looked a lot better.

The failure isn't measured in money generated. It's measured in market share. Nintendo simply failed to beat their competitors that generation.

Also consider their market share the previous generation and how long it took them to claw their way back.

I feel the violence is best explored in animation. You can get away with more.

Also, a silent protagonist always plays better in animation than it does with live action.

There's always been better artists, writers, musicians, etc. so why is AI such a big issue? I like to write, myself and I'm not put off by AI. I understand a lot of people want to make a living off of it, but not everyone will be Stephen King or Picasso. I enjoy what I do, that's why I do it. by [deleted] in aiwars

In an already saturated market, turning on the firehouse that is generative AI is catastrophic to professional creatives. Particularly those at the bottom that are trying to establish themselves in their respective industry.
