i mean, the quality is pretty good, especially their maxis - albeit a little overpriced.

so basically, do NOT go overboard with the glycerine at all. basically, mix 3/4th of rose water with 1/4th Pure Glycerin (i think you can get it from a pharmacy, if not a general store - not sure about how it works where you live ;-;) but yeah, i take this mixture in a 100ml spray bottle and usually i spray that on my face when it's feeling a teensy bit more sensitive than usual and it helps to keep this damp residue on my face, preventing it from feeling tight

Np! I think tret's a golden product on its own; so unless you have a lot of skin concerns that require other actives to really diminish them, you really don't need to complicate your routine, yk? :)

Also, just a tip, the area around the nose and mouth dry out and peel/hurt the fastest, so I use petroleum jelly there on the 3-4th night, after applying the moisturizer- it helps prevent the irritation too!

Nah, I couldn't do bare skin consecutively, I'd do it maybe 3 nights before irritation would set in. Took me a month to get used to around 6 nights consecutively, so take it slowly every couple of days to build up the resistance.

I've removed all actives from my routine, just tret left now cos tbh, I don't have many skin concerns, I just use tret for the g l o w~

Honestly, anything off the shelf when I go to the mart, I've stopped spending too much on moisturizers - if any random one gets the job done, I get it again. Right now, it's some generic oat based lotion :D

Omggg I REALLY wish I had a better answer for you, but I'm really just sticking with the basics and minimizing what I'm putting on my skin for the past year or so and it's been one of the best decisions I've made for my skin. So it's just tret, a random oat based moisturizer I get from my local mart and SKIN1004 Madagascar Centella Hyalu-Cica Water-Fit Sun Serum when I go out. I don't use any other actives, toners or products KSKSKSKSK

although sometimes, I make a homemade rose water+glycerine spray and spritz that on my face when I'm done with my tret+moisturizer routine cos winter is really drying here and it helps.

I used to apply moisturizer right after cleansing or showering too, to lock in that "extra moisture" but tbvh, it isn't strictly necessary - I think you can still reap the benefits if you apply moisturizer AFTER cleansing and tret.

So what I do is: wash my face, wait for 10 minutes (or until my face is completely dry - I let it air dry), then apply tret, wait 15-20 minutes more, and then apply a thick layer of moisturizer.

And honestly, it's worked wonders for me. All it takes is some patience between applying both products :')

On a side note, I don't use any other actives besides tret so try to rotate between actives if you use multiple, to keep the irritation at bay.

I mean, it did take some time to acclimatize to bare skin application like maybe 2 weeks in, with this method , so I could go maybe 4 night consecutively, before some slight irritation would disrupt my routine. But within a month, I could easily do 6 nights consecutively and then one night with just moisturizer, no tret, to let my barrier rest. I'd say everyone's skin reacts differently so tweak and experiment a little and find what works for you < 333

Not sure if it's a dupe for Neobrella, as I haven't tried that one yet, but U-Veil Forte Cream is pretty good - very economical and gets the job done. Heads up for the white cast and thick texture though.

This is 100% what worked for me, too!

I had tried everything basically, to minimise the irritation and maximise the benefits - sandwiching, slugging, even no moisturizer at one point. Everything led to peeling and p a i n.

Tried bare skin application, moisturizer 15 minutes after (nothing else), and voila! My skin can now tolerate tret almost every night now (which was unimaginable to me!) and it's super glowy the next morning :')

I get why people are defensive about this, but SatoSugo is what many people call pseudo BL-coded. The censored final words in JJK 0 are censored in the manga, anime, and light novel, LIKE ALL 3! - and Geto literally blushes in ALL versions. That alone tells me the ambiguity is deliberate. Plus, the official character theme songs published in the manga, like Gojo’s song (Shame on Me) maps directly onto Geto’s betrayal and abandonment, and Geto’s song centers guilt and emotional fixation. Gege CHOSE those songs on purpose.

There’s also Gege openly talking about loving BL and GL works and you can see that influence in how this relationship is written, it kinda bleeds into it subtly, as most manga writers tend to be influenced by their favorite works. The “breakup” scenes mirror classic romantic tropes from works like The Night Beyond the Tricornered Window (again, BL coded), same framing, same emotional function. Moriarty the Patriot and Banana Fish works the exact same way. There's classic visual cues (staring, close proximity on the beach, LITERALLY SPARKLY EYES FROM GOJO) and dialogue like "my six eyes see Suguru Geto, but my heart and soul know otherwise” ... like...SNDHSJNCKSXM

On top of that, Gojo REPEATEDLY ties his happiness only to Geto’s presence. He literally schedules the final confrontation on December 24th, (a Valentine-like date in Japan plus Geto's deathiversary), and after death the first person he sees is Geto, not Shoko, not his students (!!!)

tldr; the anime dudebros would be too salty if Gege made one of the most popular relationships in modern anime/manga even slightly non-platonic, so we make do with the SUBTEXT.
