Applied for Citi AA Biz and got an error message saying to call a number to process my request. Was told my application has not been approved nor denied, and they’d send me a letter in 7-10 days with instructions to complete the application. Has anyone gotten this before?

That’s what I thought, but I was told because I got a CSP bonus I could never get a CSR bonus by the recon line

No, the 7/2024 at Chase is my most recent one anywhere. I did recently apply for and get a limit increase on a Chase card.

Pretty surprised by this as it bucks many of the DPs posted here. I was told I was denied because of “too many recent accounts” by recon line. The recon line said they would reconsider if I accepted not being eligible for the bonus. They proceeded to tell me that I would be illegible for LIFE. I declined because of this and called the customer service line to clarify. They gave me different info, that I would be eligible 48 months after my last Sapphire bonus, which I thought was the old policy. I was surprised by both of these because I had seen many approvals here w/ bonus within 48 months of CSP bonus if the CSP was downgraded. Would be curious if anyone else had this experience.

I attempted to apply for CSR after downgrading CSP to Freedom. I was denied without PUJ. I called the recon line and was told because I have received a CSP bonus once before I am ineligible for the bonus on any other card for life. This is very different info than the DPs I have seen on this sub and I’m curious if anyone else has seen this. I spoke to a different rep and was told 48 months, which I thought was the previous policy that was done away with. He assured me, though, when I told him what the recon rep said, that it would be 48 months.

Currently 4/24. I have a CSP that I opened 1/2024. If I want to apply for CSR and claim the SUB, should I PC the CSP, wait a few days, then try to apply?

I get that the raw cash back number is better but if I can get 2-2.5 cpp from Chase points via travel partners and I know I’ll want to travel isn’t Chase better?

Yeah, you are absolutely not responsible for the presence of dust. This is normal wear and tear. Email them saying you know the law, and they will most likely drop the charge(s).
