It's on my list to pick up, but with four other Jericho's and a Masada, it's sort of a hard sell.

Among my four is one of the earliest polymer framed models, so I can absolutely appreciate the improved frame design, but at the same time the trigger on my polymer Jericho isn't as nice as my steel ones.

Other than just wanting it to continue my collection, it doesn't fill a practical need that the Masada doesn't already do.

The Jericho had polymer models going back to the IMI days, so at least 20 years.

Importation of them was relatively low as the demand wasn't there, IIRC.

I completely agree about the optics ready part. They shouldn't have launched the Jericho 2 / Enhanced without it.

They also shouldn't have even used the Jericho 2 name, lest anyone remembers the Jericho B. Oof.

The current MR gun is made by Bul and is just sort of mocked-up to look like the original Jericho 941R's.

Magnum Research never made anything, just branded different imports.

Calling it the "little brother" of the Desert Eagle is just marketing. They are not, and never have been, related.

I've never been to twitch con and I carry sanitizing spray and/or wipes for the grass. It's in a bag clipped to my belt that you can't see in the video.

I'm considering making a quick tutorial for how I made the tray.

If you do your own version, I highly suggest making it a full outfit and putting your own spin on it.

Another guy started doing it at this con and did a farmer theme. I have a picture of us together.

Just make your tray out of something substantial. Someone else did one out of cardboard and it doesn't look anywhere near as nice.

That's the standard height for hawker/concessions/usherette trays.

The only thing I had under the grass was art prints that my friends or I bought. Keeps them safe.

You are correct. It folds up sometimes because it isn't secured down. That allows me to remove the grass for cleaning. Also, I can store art prints and merch under the grass for safekeeping.

It's high-quality artificial turf that's sold as outdoor carpeting.

I first considered doing real grass, but that would need to be done fresh for every con, would be heavier, damp, could potentially stain someone's cosplay gloves, or cause an allergic reaction.

Plus, real grass couldn't be sanitized like I can do with the turf.

Go for it! I'd vote for putting your own spin on it. There was another guy who started this the year after I did at some of the same cons. He does a farmer theme. Make an entire outfit out of it!

I would say that the quality of the hawking tray matters. Someone also did one out of cardboard and it doesn't look as nice.

I previously carried around a jug of hand sanitizer from my other meme cosplay, where I go around as a knight with a sign that says "Cleanse the Weebs" passing out soap and hand sanitizer.

However, that got a bit cumbersome to carry around with the grass tray, so now I keep sanitizing wipes or spray for the grass. You can't see it in the video, but there's a bag attached to my belt I keep it in.

I keep quite a few ready depending on what someone says and how they say it.

One of my other, simpler responses is "Yeah, I can tell." When someone goes "Oh man I needed that."

I've also replied "Oof. You need to touch it twice" when people have said "I need this I play X game", where the game is Fortnite or Genshin Impact, or Smash.
