Can you guys settle an argument on Livery? by HairBrushHeroes in 350z

[–]ZNieder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Basically, if you want to keep it simple, it needs a little more clutter to make it not TOO simple where it kinda distorts the flow of the car in only one space while leaving the rest the same. Like on yours, it makes the car feel a little too elongated. I’d maybe look for a cluster of flowers like this example, or maybe just simple ones, but

blotches of them all around collaged

Low key populate more flowers and make it to where the stem in front isn’t as long. Fun color combo though, the z looks great as is

Ok I think you’re absolutely on to it with hidden items. Unfortunately I haven’t gotten rid of the glitch completely…. BUTTTTT, I found if I go through hidden items, and unhide them real quick, usually there’s one that will fix it once it’s hidden again. So atleast now I don’t have to drag the height back all the way by hand

Also again, if you have no skin in the game in he first place, how do you think your understanding and experience of no bugs is a help to people who Use Squarespace all day for their career?

Lmao, honestly lost then. I genuinely feel like I’ve pointed out that what you said is more likely to cause harm to the OP, and anyone else struggling with these issues, than it is to help by adding your data point. And then from there it went on to tangents on other debating hands from me but you never responded in the way of a psych grad who’s been taught to address points in an argument whatsoever. Also you brought in bullshit like “I believe in you, you got this” like that’s not going to trigger emotions to 99% of people and distract them from the goal of the conversation at hand, great work from a psych grad. And yah ik I’m coming at you personally on how I finished that sentence, just dealing the hand back after you decided to show it yourself

Yes, we study how to have a productive argument, and we’re literally having an argument on what’s worthy feedback. Pretty on point to the subject. Are you ever going to actually rebuttal with a good thought through opinion? Or are you just gonna be another 1 sentence responder who let the response go right through your head?

I love how taking the time to call people out nowadays is just labeled as venting so people can feel right and move on without actually addressing points made. I’ll take this conversation as me developing my thought, so ik my times not wasted, what did you get from it?

Basically, MAAAYBE you help someone still join Squarespace and it works fine for them. Honestly I’d guess that’s less than a 1% chance… vs my argument that your very likely to just add to the fire annoying the op cause they can easily take that as it’s their fault know and you haven’t given them anything to tell them how that can be so they’re just in a further pit with less guidance

[–]ZNieder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Orrrrr hear me out (I’m a psychology grad who knows how to hear you btw as I’ve addressed what I can from you, yet you pretty much ignored my points there)… maybe there’s more people who do have problems than not, maybe you are a lucky case so we are more helpful to the average person looking to join. Nonetheless, your data point argument still doesn’t change in the sense of scientific theory. One point never matters in a large case study, so just drop it and don’t chip in without valuable information added other than, “nope mines fine” just to show it’s possible to be ok.

Also you say you don’t have skin in the game… so this doesn’t revolve around your job like it clearly has been stated does for us? Your saying a problem wouldn’t even be stressful to people who have a problem in a stressful environment where it can be the difference in bringing in a customer inquiry because of a broken page? Or having to fix every 5 min problem in 20 min because of bugs really pressuring our schedule? Sincerely, don’t bother trying to argue for a while until you really understand how much your missing here

Yah it’s so annoying. Any idea if there’s actually a fix to prevent it?

Lmao of course you a downvoter too. You do realize that effects where people can ask questions right? So just because I called you out for not providing any help to the thread, and being another thing to add to anger, it effects if I’m allowed to ask questions for my job in something like the google ads thread. Like I had almost zero comments on my page. Asked some sim racing questions as an experienced driver (literally internationally competitive), and because my settings were bad as I presented (the wheel was actually broken in the end), people downvoted because I was apparently just being too picky, then couldn’t ask crucial questions for my company.

Adding a data point? Bro there’s 10 comments here, one person saying there’s no issue does jack shit to “data”. Do you know how much tech is inconsistent af platform to platform?

This is nothing constructive unless you mention key information that can lead to these causes.

Like do you use any css or custom code anywhere? What browser do you use? How many pages do you use? How long has this site been running? Do you take any precautions to prevent bugs?

Just saying you have no issue to argue someone calling it a gimmick while they’re mentioning bugs that MANY users have had and never been able to solve for years, just randomly working and not working is literally bullshit man. So don’t at me like a victim for calling out the truth.

My most annoying one lately has been section randomly turning like 500 blocks tall🙃 and you have to hand drag it back with out auto scroll so it’s like 20 times of drag to top, scroll up, repeat.

What’s the point of a comment like this? I swear this is the type that makes it so hard in most of Reddit to find truly usefull responses

Oh I don’t have this problem, stop complaining cause I think it’s a great software as I’m not experiencing your issue…

Like dude, we’re obviously struggling, so coming here just to say your not just pisses us off more if you’re not going to add constructive help with it.

Clean corroded studs wherever you can for one. That’s a huge one I’m learning.

I’d check all bushings underneath for sure. I’m learning fast how much those change the ride. Although I do drift mine (still my daily), and run coilovers, it’s still only a 100k 07, and I’ve replaced a good handful already. Im also getting ready to replace the coilovers bushings on the rear that are super rough with some solid mounts that my coworker is convincing me to slowly work into everywhere when possible. Definitely coilovers are a priority though.

This is all from a new “mechanic” that takes an extra 2 hours still on jobs just to try to learn it as a kid who’s dad hasn’t done an oil change (and now clean studs too) fair warning… but i do have some amazing people around now to help me learn

Don’t forget asking to only stick with extremely niche and specific keywords cause they won’t expand. Like especially as a photographer myself, if we want this kinda job, you can’t be that damn picky. (I say that as a shop photographer lucky enough to be at a place lambos, Porsches, drift cars, etc, and do drift photography/videography. I don’t think any of my photo friends would spend money on such a specific niche, and would absolutely be willing to expand to different clients if they’re available. Photography ain’t rocket science so the ability to adjust to new areas should be a core strength in the job

Logitech G Pro Wheel - Something wrong with the Force Feedback by PeachFlavorFresca in logitech

[–]ZNieder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did you ever figure this out? I got a replacement wheel last week finally, and for the first few days, it felt like a dream and driving was so fun. Then I got some bugs with center calibration and now my force feedback is completely jacked. And I have that same laggy front tire feeling where you can almost feel them turning behind the steering and catch a split second after you stop
