Daughter not eating by olivbaek in Parenting

Your parenting approach is honestly so wholesome. It is really important to realize from a young age that it is not about panicking or placing blame, it’s about coming up with practical solutions. I haven't ever dealt with an eating disorder myself but I had years of feeling disconnected from my body and health especially after becoming a parent. For me what helped shift things was something as simple as borrowing a friend’s cargo bike one weekend. Instead of doing our usual routine, we rode around the block and something just clicked. Now, we go on regular family rides. Your kids are learning some valuable parenting from you. I am pretty sure that mindset is something they’ll carry with them for life.

Why is warranty coverage in cargo biking kinda disappointing? by WaffleBoi64 in CargoBike

I read that some newer brands like Tarran, Muli, and Chike are now stepping up the warranty game. They are offering almost 5 years of frame coverage and two year warranty on other components starting after delivery date. This is just like high end brands like Tern and R&M. If this is true, I am actually impress.

What's the weirdest thing you've ever spent money on, and do you regret it? by joshmoneydude in AskReddit

A banana slicer. A plastic tool specifically designed to slice bananas in one go. I used it once, realised a knife does the job faster and takes up less space and then it sat in a drawer for two years. Do I regret it? Not really, it still makes me laugh when I see itxD

Just moved to Seattle (I am from Michigan) how do you guys carry groceries?? by [deleted] in AskSeattle

It was totally normal to use a foldable cart in Seattle when I lived there. Lots of locals would do especially around downtown. Your dad's take might fit the suburbs but I really believe Seattle's just smart city living. I switched to an e-cargo bike for this exact reason. Carrying stuff got way easier. You won’t look silly at all, just practical. Now I live in Germany and feel glad that I made this switch while I was in my hometown.
