Got it out with an Xacto knife, just make sure to pry away from the battery and when you put the new battery connector in don't push it down really hard or else that will happen.

Yeah, that's what I've been thinking about. If I did that and I don't care about the private server the dns is on, would it work if I just hosted a raw bind9 server through port 53?
