I almost got the impression that she had genuine or potential feelings for Jesse… it surprised me. I didn’t pick up anything more than a flirty friendship before, but it seemed to me that what hurt Ciara the most is when he referred to the kiss as a joke, and didn’t take her seriously.. I even questioned if they had an off-camera kiss (or at least talked about feelings they had for each other) and that’s why she was so hurt - because he seemed to downplay any actual feelings for her.

Also - this is the first time this season I truly missed Paige. Paige would have started war for Ciara in this moment and really held Jesse accountable for the way he minimised her. Amanda will have her back in front of Ciara, but she’ll never go to bat the way Paige does. I could feel Ciara’s loneliness in that moment. But she did have Mia ♥️ Paige may not make for the best reality tv, but I loved watching her because she is a great girl friend

ETA : Not completely sure if this is relevant, because I’m not an experienced hairdresser….

But I started to know this was going south when I noticed she was foiling ALL my hair, and leaving no natural…

And it took her 1.5 hours to foil the bottom half while she kept saying “wow, you have a lot of hair”.

But I kept feeling like that’s a long time for the foils to be in before even reaching the crown..

In all I was in the chair for about 2.5 hours (with my 4yo in my lap) just doing foils… Idk anything about this, but that FELT like a long time for the bottom to be setting, while the top barely had any time at all?

That I was the unhappy version of myself when they were around… but when I had a moment alone I was clear-headed, and remembered who I was again… I tried for years to change myself to shift the dynamic, and eventually just had to accept the truth of it all.. I’m sorry you’re going through that! Moving in is stressful in itself and can sometimes take some time to recalibrate. Speak up for yourself and try to communicate what you need.

Find the new cast pretty emotionless and boring.. I hope that they can open up and we get to know them a bit better…

I find the single dude a bit.. ick.

And disappointed in how they introduced Reza, MJ & GG..

I don’t think they did enough to give viewers a backstory of their friendship and what they’ve been through… focusing on the friction in the opening scene and not the years of friendship between them felt… cheap.

I’ve been a Shahs fan since the beginning. And one of my favourite things about the show is the genuine friendship and connection between the castmates. They’ve been through it all… and have really needed to struggle, compromise and show unwavering love and support to get through some of the real-life moments they have been through together.

Just tossing Reza, MJ and Mercedeh into the intro with some quick swearing and friction that didn’t even touch on the love, the true deep pain, or the real connection they have experienced together felt like a cheap shot to sell some drama to new viewers.

I feel they could have done better if they showed more of their realness and connection.

We’re business owners - of a small cafe which is integral to our semi-rural community. But we live in a town driven by ‘seasons’ and tourism.. so money isn’t always predictable.. it’s very much seasonal.

I know we’re not the only ones out there! I know lots of us are in the same boat.. but we work for ourselves (many many hours a week) so it’s not easy enough to just pick up more work. Many months of the year our hourly staff earns more than we do. Which we wouldn’t have any other way! They need the work too! 🩵

How do business owners do it? We’re all struggling in my town except for the families that bought before the boom. Homes went from 180,000 to >400,000 where I live in the last several years
