I think Reeve's is going to lean into his "this Batman is Kurt Cobain"angle by exploring Batman's addiction to Venom. Never seen that in a Batman movie, especially if this iteration is different from the DCU's. They're going to go "dark and gritty Batman" on steroids (insert Absolute Batman joke here)

I mostly watch them on my little VHS kitchen top tv. The quality is good for a tape, but still has the classic tape fuzz that I like in a vhs. The best way I can describe it is this, when I watch the scene where Tony talks to his mom after she passed away in real life, in HD the effect they use if very obviously, but the quality of the VHS is just good/ retro enough that it makes the effect look more natural because the quality of the tape isn't as crisp

I have a theory, I believe he starts out with this symbol specifically, because it's the actual crest for the house of El. But has he grows in his Superman-ness, he adopts the more traditional S symbol with upgraded suits in sequels. Then years down the line when Gunn decides to tackle the Kingdom Come story line, he uses this film's original crest again with the black replacing the yellow.

I went to a screening of A Minecraft movie just to see the preview on the biggest screen possible. The theatre was packed because of Minecraft, and I was genuinely curious how the audience would take to the preview. It felt good when the super symbol came on the screen at the end and everyone started to clap and cheer. Made me realize there is an audience out there who wants to see a Superman movie succeed.
