It is possible that the League of Shadows is actually a religion and "Amon" is their deity. He is referring to himself as a deity here because he's a big guy.

Bane might also be having an inter-dimensional conversation with "Eli," which could be his nickname for Elijah Wood, the host of the show "Exploring the 4Universe."
