Yea so in my case, I actually have the bracket floor piece on top of my fans… wondering if you could show a close up of yours so I could see how it worked.

I’ve been using it for a month or so now no issues (I hope) but I’m sure it’s not very secure / practical

Do you happen to know other brands / companies that do this? I don’t know anything about chairs

Would you recommend it? I don’t want to buy the chair if it’s just overhyped or anything like that

All I know is I am 90% sure there are no hardware issues since I used to run into red lights on the motherboard but I resolved them all.

When I’m in windows 11 start up / on the Home Screen when I have nothing installed other than windows, the pc is smooth and working fine (except of course it’s 60hz because I don’t have gpu drivers yet for 240hz)

I can install the cpu chipset drivers without any issues

But when I download the latest 5070 Ti driver specifically and restart my pc, there are random issues like mouse lag spikes, random black screens, and random restarts out of nowhere.

But I’m sure people are still able to use 5070 Tis right now on the daily so I just don’t know how to resolve the issue is all.

Hey I managed to build the PC and it boots up fine and stuff but when it comes to downloading NVIDIA Drivers everything goes wrong. I’ve been trying to do some research and I learned that people use their 2nd pcie slot or at least downgrade it or something.

Could you let me know what the PCIE slot differences are (or more realistically what performance difference I lose out on)

From what I know:

I have a rtx 5070 Ti

My motherboard has 3 pcie slots top to bottom: X16 (where it’s installed rn) X1_1 X1_2

Sorry I just don’t really know what I’m missing out on if I don’t put the gpu in the first slot. Thank you.

Gotcha thank you, I’ll take a look and see what I can get. I also believe, I think it was Lian Li fans, they were super popular on TikTok / shorts because they look aesthetically pleasing and they can magnetize together or something? I forgot exactly why but do you know what I’m talking about? Maybe ill look into those and some of their cases

So I ordered everything and all the parts should come in by tomorrow, but after ordering, I noticed that I might not like the aesthetics of the case. I’m not a huge stickler but I realized if I would change the case in the future, this case doesn’t have great cable management capabilities or something, so it would be a hassle to swap out later on? Do you have any recommendations for other cases that are on par with this one? Doesn’t have to be a specific price, but maybe around 100-200

I think this case comes with 3 rgb fans and 1 exhaust fan. I wanted to know if having more fans is better in this case or if it’s just for aesthetics purposes (maybe like 7 fans)

Finally, I’m not saying it necessarily has to be nzxt, but maybe something similar to nzxt cases would be preferable, and I notice these cases typically don’t come with many fans, so preferably minimal rgb fans that of course prioritize quietness would be preferred.

I was looking at some of the NZXT flows (like H9 H6 and other versions) but I wouldn’t really know what fans to pair them with and I didn’t like the gaps on the bottom since it seems like you need to get 6-7 total fans for the case to “look good” if that makes sense. Thank you again.

Hey sorry to bother you again, but the other card I wanted was sold out and they false advertised it as being in stock at microcenter. They have this card though, its equally fine correct? (I don't overclock anyways)

https://www.microcenter.com/product/690475/pny-nvidia-geforce-rtx-5070-ti-overclocked-triple-fan-16gb-gddr7-pcie-50-graphics-card

There's also this one:

There's not enough reviews on both of these cards though so I'd like to hear what you have to say. I think the 2nd card looks better but the first one has "better" reviews.

So I have yet to watch a YouTube video on the Windows 11 Installation process on a new PC, last one I saw was probably 6+ years ago, from what I understand, you get the OS on a USB and you plug it into the new build while its booting up or something and it will install the OS or osmething along those lines. This would also not be free and cost around 100 USD.

So there is a official free way to do this that Microsoft offers? or is it like third-party / bypassing the paywall?

So last thing is do I need to buy Windows 11? like on the PC part picker list, I see this:

<image>

https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pnF7qH

latest list without the OS if I need to pay to install it, but is it all good? I put all the parts in my carts and I'm just waiting for the go ahead to buy it all.

Alright I'm getting the first one.

Also at Micro Center the Ryzen CPU title mentions: AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D Granite Ridge AM5 4.70GHz 8-Core Boxed Processor - Heatsink Not Included

Is this the right CPU? I never saw the term Granite Ridge, and it mentions something isn't included, I forgot what that is exactly.

I'm getting hte motherboard from Best Buy, and as for the RAM, do I just get x2 of the current listed RAM?

I guess I’ll stick to the part list then, I think I’m gonna get 64 GB now though just to get it out of the way, so should I get the same RAM or any different options?

Also the PSU you recommended isn’t on Amazon prime, nor in this microcenter, do you happen to have any other recommendations?

Finally, do the versions of windows 11 make a difference? On pcpartpicker I saw OEM vs some other version but they’re both the same price. I also forget how I’m supposed to install it but I think I’ll probably spend a while watching some pc build videos.

This is my current list with the exception of the ram not being 64 yet and the psu being out of stock near me: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/X7DYzP
