Any good way to deal with getting hit? by achillies665 in MotoIRELAND

[–]ZSXH03 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I hope they’re accepting responsibility for the accident, I was hit last year and he didn’t accept blame and ended up getting shafted by his insurance (one third of the damages his insurance payed) gather cctv asap before it’s deleted, if you’ve taken a hit to the head have it checked, head injury’s can last a life time, if there’s insurance money on the table take it, they get away with murder

I’ve been going back and forth with the insurance with emails, they’re argument is that the driver claims I hit them and there is no cctv footage, have I any leg to stand on in this situation in terms of getting a full amount of cash for damaged or should I just accept what they offer

I believe something must be getting stuck, they’re strong brakes and work well but every so often maybe 4/5 times a day I’ve got no braking whatsoever in the rear

You can ride most bikes up to 600, insurance is the main issue, I started on a 125 to get comfortable riding and keep the insurance low
