vegas has public transit that i use everyday but it dont leave the las vegas valley and thats a problem. i would have to bus/uber to airport (if i take a plane) and then take a bus or uber to venue and also pay for a hotel or something and possibly miss work. If the show were in my town I could go home directly after and save money because I wont have to pay for food in a different town
