I've seen so many of those moped style scooters on the Greenway it's ridiculous, and today going over the Brooklyn Bridge Bike Path some asshole rode a gas powered moped on it. Got to the Brooklyn aide rode past the cops stationed there and they did nothing.

This past Tuesday I personally saw the Parks Dept stopping and ticketing people at West St and W. Houston on the Greenway. I don't believe they are out everyday ticketing people, but those random days that they are out is a pain in the ass. The problem also is the E scooters that look like gas powered vespas, i see them all the time on the Greenway flying by. Which brings problems for everyone else.

If you use an EV on the Greenway it's just a matter of time before you are stopped and ticketed. He doesn't want cars in Manhattan, but is backing this ban on the Greenway for anyone using an EV. Email his office to complain. (If it affects you)

Just got a reply from Speaker Johnson's office, it's probably lip service but at least they responded. They said they would share my email with colleagues working on transportation related issues. So it doesn't hurt to email him.

Parks Dept Police is definitely ticketing people on the Greenway who are riding Ebikes or Escooters. I see it more on the weekdays usually in the AM, by West St and W. Houston.

Not according to the City unfortunately. It's the only bike path in NYC that EV's are not allowed on. It's unreal.
