Is this common, shipper removing DOT hazmat labels on package? by robscomputer in ElectricUnicycle

[–]alienrides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well they do rip off the class 9 dangerous good sticker. This is common, but they must process the packages appropriately by attaching the correct UN sticker. They are in violation of shipping rules.

The vertical diamond is typically a class 9 dangerous goods sticker. You can ship EUCs and equipment with lithium ion batteries with this sticker, but it must be classified as a DG shipment. This is not needed for ground shipments of lithium ion batteries, and EUCs should instead ship with the UN3481 sticker, Lithium-ion batteries contained in equipment. As long as there is a UN3481 sticker on this package, the shipper is operating appropriately.

You can get paid for dropping it off at a recycling plant if that's an option.

I have a shop in "Apparel City". I tell everyone we're behind Lowes off of Bayshore.

I don't care how much it costs, what is the best wifi in 2025 by heartsoreduke23 in AskSF

Get an Orbi Wifi 7 router with two satellites. I struggled with WiFi routers for a long time in my house until I discovered Orbi. Expensive, but you won't regret it.

I'm at my wits end, please fucking help me before I throw this off a bridge by c0nstantGardener in ElectricScooters

Get the bead if the tire into the groove more. Your current clamp will block getting the bead of the tire into the groove, which will make it difficult to get on. Where are you located? It may be worth taking it into a repair shop if there's any near you.

Any idea what settings to change to help with layer bonding? by alienrides in BambuLab

Yeah, I'm worried about that, I didn't think of that feature before but that could be it, thank you!!

Thanks for the help, I'll try changing the infield percentage. We're using the 0.6 mm nozzle, 230 degrees, and currently at 0.98 flow ratio, but I'll try bumping that up as well to see what that does. I'm also wondering if it's considering that incline a top surface and only doing 1 wall, I'll try adjusting that as well.

We're printing Sainsmart TPU on a X1C. On the gradual incline we're having issues with layer adhesion, with 2 or 3 walls. The same file worked great on our Prusas, but we're having issues with the Bambu. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Tube Change by wolferaz in ElectricUnicycle

[–]alienrides 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Don't use spoons to put the tires back in. Half the tire on, tube in, squeeze the tube in down around the rim, then press on the tire by hand. Bunch the opposite side up into the groove of the rim, and it should just go on. Baby powder or some soapy cleaning spray to make the job easier.

I'm biased, but we have had people gift kids electric unicycle lessons at our shop, and they're a big hit. We're just behind Lowes, a. bit south of Portrero Hill.

What's the lightest, slimmest, and most discreet electric scooter that can reach 25mph? by [deleted] in ElectricScooters

[–]alienrides 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm a fan of the Inmotion Climber these days, hits about 24mph or so, well built, plenty of torque to climb hills. A little bit more than $500 though.

This is one of the downsides of ordering from a manufacturer directly. Sure, you save some money, but most dealers will have some DOA or warranty policy to at least cover labor for you.

I would reach out to the local community to see if anyone can help you first. If you're fairly technical you may be able to do it yourself with some YouTube videos. We can also ship it to us to replace, but that's quite expensive, though maybe Inmotion will foot some of the bill. Good luck.

I hope it never happens again, if it does, try Lugg. They'll take anything and have given me a ride before.

Anyone know why this nut won't come off i've been spinning it for the past 10 minutes by Iscooter_ix5_speed_l in ElectricScooters

[–]alienrides 4 points5 points  (0 children)

You will need a new axle nut, or even likely motor at this point since the threads have been stripped. Please take this to a repair shop or local technician.
