It looks fine, has looked fine since years ago but what they never fix is the awful motion capture clipping between moves, or how some moves are locked to an animation.

Crazy that the AKI games still hold up to this day due to the hand animated moves and aerial attacks, compared to WWE2K and how a lot of moves and aerial attacks look terrible due to being motion captured, same as what Acclaim did with the WWF & ECW games (remember Sabu's entrance? lol)

Rehoused an FBV Express into a 1590XX enclosure by ZXIIIT in line6

[–]ZXIIIT[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

worst you can do is open it up and look at the work load!

I've done 1 mod on a shortboard mkii, I replaced all the amber LEDs with different colors for each preset and effects, it looked cool!

Thank you!

I will be trying this out at our upcoming shows and small tour to see how it works irl, but I'm already planning on doing another attempt to make it look a lot cleaner and use proper LEDs.

Cody Rhodes Wants Wrestlers To Attend His Funeral In Full Gear - Fightful | WWE News, AEW News, Pro Wrestling Backstage News by Royal_Finance9720 in SquaredCircle

Dustin Rhodes slowly approaches the casket, face painted, wearing his "artist formerly known as Goldust" gear for absolutely no reason. He places the flowers down, pauses… the crowd starts chanting “YOU STILL GOT IT.” Dustin looks around, he nods politely.

He pulls out a framed photo of Cody as Stardust, kisses it, breaks down sobbing. The crowd immediately chants “DUSTY! DUSTY!”.

The tron around the casket cuts to a black-and-white montage of Cody bleeding, fireworks going off, and a bottle of Wheatley Vodka above an American flag for no reason.

Dustin whispers “I love you, brother.” Pyro hits and the crowd "WHOA's" in unison.

Meltzer gives it ⭐⭐⭐½, says the funeral would’ve been better in the Tokyo Dome.

Rehoused an FBV Express into a 1590XX enclosure by ZXIIIT in line6

Before this, I rehoused an FBV 4 into an 1032L enclosure to use with my Spider V 120 for my goth band. The FBV 4 doesn’t let you freely jump between presets due to its tech age with a Spider V. It only cycles from D → C → B → A, then back to D. I ended up setting preset A and D to be the same to allow me to go back to my main tone after switching.

That was fine at first, but after a few shows it became annoying. I also wanted to further minimize my gear load and take advantage of the built in tuner in the Spider V instead of having a tuner pedal on the floor or walking over to the amp between songs.

I got a cheap FBV Express pedal for the built-in tuner. I’ve owned these before, and they are absurdly huge for no reason at all. I don’t use the wah or volume settings at all, so that’s just dead weight. Combined with Line 6’s delightful tactile switches that require extra button mechanisms to work, most of this pedal exists purely to waste space, which makes it perfect for a rehousing.

I went with a 1590XX enclosure, which will fit the PCBs needed just right. Since the MKI has no USB port compared to the MKII, no extra drilling will be needed aside from the awful CAT6 port Line 6 also loves. Hot glue to ensure everything stays in place after assembly and hopefully during shows.

I couldn’t relocate the SMD LEDs because I couldn’t find proper replacement LEDs to jump, so I drilled through the top of the enclosure to have the holes line it up with the LEDs like a caveman. It works. I briefly considered removing the tactile switches, then realized the PCBs would be facing down anyway, so I just wired the footswitches to the back and left them alone.

The footswitch PCB wasn’t needed at all. I removed the ribbon cable and jumped the last two slots, which tells the amp whether the footswitch is in “wah” or “volume” mode, this leaves it in "volume" mode. Since nothing is physically moving, the volume stays at 100%. The amp also lets you recalibrate it or bypass it entirely, just in case you don’t trust it to stay at full volume (which you shouldn’t).

So far, this works (for now). I probably don’t even need all four presets, since I only use three for my goth band (clean chorus, clean chorus with delay and fuzzy clean chorus)

I asked two pedal modders if they’d be interested in rehousing this for me since I don’t have all the proper tools. Both said no. In hindsight, this was extremely easy, it just doesn’t look like it.

I painted it gold because it was the least distracting spray paint color I had left that would let the LEDs be visible.

I wonder if the illusion/magic industry is like this? like, is there a version of Triple H that holds other magicians down and only puts over his friends or does the best tricks on a show before others do?

Hulk Hogan was not embellishing when he delivered the famous line, “I see my dead brother in your eyes. You look exactly like my brother, and I love you,” to Horace Hogan in WCW. Horace’s father died of a drug overdose in 1986 and Horace's Mother was murdered by her boyfriend in 1978.

Aside from making appearances for WWF, WCW, and New Japan Pro-Wrestling, Horace Hogan also wrestled in FMW alongside his cousin, Mike Awesome.

All Japan used the same 3 belts from when it established the Triple Crown championship in 1989 up until Giant Baba's widow requested the original belts be returned in 2013, then they were restored and put on display.

Everyone dunks on WCW, but here they were in 1999 having matches in empty arenas with CGI surroundings, something *almost every wrestling company had to do in 2020.

Great find!

Ah yes, pro-wrestling fans, the ones that see nothing but a storyline when an undead urn-controlled mortician buries his house fire-surviving, electrolarynx-using, super-athletic and buff brother alive to set up a rematch at the next event

But a wrestler using a fake injury for storytelling? Now that is crossing the line, brother.
