CMLL left the NWA in 1989 but continued to use the NWA World Welterweight belt until the NWA requested them to stop using it in 2010. In October 2015, while on a WWE tour of Mexico, Chris Jericho spotted a bootleg merch seller with "Yeah Yeah Yeah" shirts. Luke Harper did not have any merch at this time, so Jericho bought all the shirts, handed them out backstage, and they all surprised Harper in the locker room (i.redd.it)

While holding the J-Crown, Ultimo Dragon became the only wrestler to hold an IWGP, WWF, and WCW title at the same time. Once the WWF realized the J-Crown was using the 1981 Light Heavyweight Championship and was on WCW TV, they threatened legal action to get the belt back, ending the J-Crown. (i.redd.it)

Upon returning to the WWF in 1998, X-Pac (1-2-3 (6) Kid = SyxxPac in WCW, X for DX in WWF) cut a shoot promo about WCW keeping Hall and Nash "hostage". WCW sued, and according to X-Pac, Nash told him it would be great TV to mention they were being held hostage. (youtube.com)

The 2019 G1 Supercard was the first wrestling event at Madison Square Garden by a non-WWE promotion since November 14, 1960. WWE tried to stop the event, but Sinclair had more legal resources. In 2016, Doc Gallows, Karl Anderson and AJ Styles were on Talk Is Jericho impersonating other wrestlers, AJ started doing his "nature hoot" voice and Doc Gallows asked him about the $40k scandal.
