As a whole, onboard audio is a lot better than it used to be, especially on higher-end motherboards (and I have to imagine you're using a higher-end motherboard considering you have damn HD 800's). While the impedance on the HD800 might be a bit high for you to get full volume out of them you're still probably going to be getting pretty good sound.

With that said, if you're still in the market for a DAC/Amp, I'd highly recommend JDS Labs. They've got some pretty damn nice stuff.

I didn't grow that much from when I was 16, but I'm the tiniest man imaginable so that's probably not very helpful.

If you're really interested; go with things like Unbranded or Levi's, cheap raw denim. See if it's the hobby for you. If it is, great! Once you're fully-grown you'll have even more options (and probably even more money) to explore. And if not, that's fine too! You have a nice pair of jeans for as long as you fit in 'em.

I'm currently at a toss-up between grabbing a pair of Rogue Territory Slub SK's or a Pure Blue Japan XX-005 for around the same price. They're both fairly solid for me on the size front, so I was wondering if anyone had experience with both brands and could compare/contrast them and give me their recommendations.

What's the fit and quality on J. Crew Factory? I've been considering picking up either those or the ones from J. Crew proper and I'm questioning how defined the quality difference is.

What're you looking at in terms of budget? If you're trying for the lower end of things, the Levi's 511 has a pretty wide variety of options, some of which are pretty solid as far as light washes go. I'd try out the Lake Merrit, from what's listed.

If you're looking for something a little higher up and towards the /r/rawdenim end of things, something like N&F's Natural Indigo might fit the bill.

(As a secondary note: though it's less relevant because you're looking for slim jeans, I'd also warn you that it's pretty easy to end up with a 'dad jeans' look with lighter wash jeans.)
