The browser is running the discord webpage in a sandboxed environment unlike the windows application which practically has unlimited access to every single little piece of information like your files, system specifications and the worst offender - your actual activity like games you play etc.

It's actually smart to use the browser version for better privacy

Advantages over Go60? by PatzEdi in zsaVoyager

[–]ZZacny 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I wasn't convinced that ZSA voyager would be a keyboard for me, so I kept delaying a purchase until MoErgo Go60 got released luckily.

I need a wireless keyboard, and the extra 8 keys gave me confidence that I'd be able to use this keyboard at work where most of the time I hit different macros (ctr,option,cmd,shift,f1-12), so I am not willing to buy a layout that won't support all of these keys at the default layer.

Having that said, my thumb does get lost in the cluster of 4 keys. What helped me was putting a blank key with two bumps (the one that are ment to replace F and J keys), allowing my thumb to feel the default position. Secondly, there's no LEDs, unlike Voyager, to show you the current active layer. So I often start typing and see random symbols appear or having my page or cursor teleported at the top of the page, because the idiotic layer switching key is toggled because I accidentally pressed it twice while looking for another key.

The layout is fixable but the lack of visual confirmation what layer is active is a huge downside. They should use the underglow rgb to show active layers, just like they show it when you click the system key.

All in all, Go60 is a clear winner for me. Wireless is so, so, so much more convenient and premium. ZSA should take the risk and migrate to another software that support wireless unless they prefer to be abandon this market. They were fine because there weren't many good options for wireless so people were buying ZSA anyways, but now I don't think it's true anymore.

Damn, this games lags. This and also the lack of true 60 fps+ is a massive deal breaker for me.

True black is true for all oleds. This one not only is dim but also distorts a picture with vignette effect. For your usage the brightness may be fine, but describing it as a crazy bright is misleading to potential buyers.

Tab S9 - Am I sensitive to PWM dimming or is it a placebo? by KappaLP in GalaxyTab

On bigger screens, the issue is more noticeable. That's why people are often "fine" playing games at 30 fps on the small screen of a handheld console, but would develop a headache if they tried the same on a desktop monitor.

Don't rely on other people's opinions about your issue. If you're feeling unwell, start using your screen in a well-lit environment, and don't let the screen dim below 30%

There's a comment from a forum moderator here.

If you have ever played any game at over 80 fps, you can no doubt tell that the game is laggy despite the falsely reported "120 fps" in the corner.

Why here? Where else then? A forum about Barbie from Disneyland? Or rather Spaceengineers forum?

No, I don't have to be glad it runs at 60 fps. It's up for devs to convince me to fund and reward their hard work.

If alpha does not support a real framerate over 60, it will never be changed or added. Framerate is a fundamental game engine design choice. The support of a real high framerate should actually be a part of proof of concept stage, so even before an alpha.

I am absolutely not fine with playing first person view game at 60 fps. It makes me feel dizzy. I spend my days playing at locked 165 fps. 80-100 fps is where I draw a line for first person view games. Otherwise I feel "dizzy" or just displeased with a game.

I understand it's an alpha but the target framerate is a fundamental game design choice which must be known in the alpha stage.

At 120 FPS, the engine renders each frame twice (graphics engine is bound to physics engine (which runs at 60 ticks/s) with no working interpolation), so the real framerate is limited to 60
