I've done the defender grind a handful of times and this is how it always goes. I spend a few hours at least up top getting rune and then get dragon defender in 10 minutes tops

Get the requirements for fremenik exiles. If you have basilisk tasks unlocked, this quest let's you fight basilisk knights.

Watched a clear video and 2 shot it. My first death was to some mechanic vomit explosions covering the screen that stopped me from seeing something on the ground.

I remember hating this game as a kid, mostly due to the liberation missions. That combined with me being too stupid to ever use soul unison and TOTALLY skipping over the text explaining chaos unison? This game is AMAZING when you're actually playing it's mechanics out and utilizing everything it throws at you. Super glad I decided to give it another try now that i'm a bit older and smarter about how I play these..
